He looked over the massive army of Death Lords standing silently behind them and let out a quiet sigh. "Though… I doubt I'll be able to use them during the academy trials. Even upgraded, they still rely on your mana, and the academy definitely won't allow external help like this."
Lily shrugged. "True. But once I rank up, I'll be able to give you even stronger blessings. That should increase your mana pool a lot."
She smiled slightly. "Then we can look for even stronger undead… or better summoning skills. Maybe both."
Mike chuckled. "Sounds like a plan."
He glanced once more at the towering undead army and shook his head in disbelief.
Or maybe, he thought, I'll just get another powerful Talent. After all, every Talent I gain—past or future—seems to end up being SSS rank anyway.
"Also, I have this," Lily said, holding out several items.
Mike looked down and saw five skill books in her hands. "You have more skill books for me?" he asked, surprised, as he took them.
