Julian's hopes seemed to crumble when he received a phone call saying that they would not be able to adopt Luna. This was because they had received a report from someone that Arcane was involved in a case of abuse against a girl.
Of course, this came as a shock to both of them, because Arcane had never been involved in such a case. Unless, someone had deliberately done this so that they would not be able to adopt Luna.
"A few days ago, we tried to conduct a survey at your house. Then someone told us that Mr. Romano was involved in a case of abuse against his own female student. So we decided not to allow you to adopt Luna," said Sandra.
"But that's not true! My husband has never been involved in such a case. All of that is just a baseless accusation, and the issue has been resolved because the abuse never actually happened!" Julian tried to explain.
