After confirming Yui-shin was a "friend" through her scent, Hanabi slowly raised her head. Her gem-like eyes stared at the girl. She could sense a trace of sadness behind the smile.
Is she smiling because of me? Hanabi wondered, a proud and tsundere expression forming on her feline face. Fine, since you like me so much, I'll let you pet me. I'm such a generous cat.
But Hanabi didn't just offer her body up immediately. She walked over to Minato's feet and rubbed against her shins, showing her cute side, while her tail "accidentally" brushed against Yui-shin's ankle.
The sensation made Yui-shin's heart skip a beat. All her sadness vanished, replaced by the urge to squeeze the fluffy creature. Minato smiled, seeing Yui-shin was distracted. She leaned over and picked Hanabi up, placing her on her white-clad thighs.
"This is Hanabi. Isn't she cute?"
"She's adorable! And so well-behaved," Yui-shin said, unable to look away.
"Hehe, do you want to hold her?"
"Can I?"
"Of course." Minato handed the cat over. Yui-shin took her with extreme care, as if she were made of glass. "Try not to touch her belly, tail, paw pads, or nose. She doesn't like it. She won't scratch you because she's nice, but she'll get moody and ignore you for at least two hours."
"Got it!" Yui-shin nodded seriously.
"You play with her for a bit. I'm going to check on Fei-yu," Minato said, standing up.
"Okay," Yui-shin replied distractedly, already petting the cat. Then she blinked. "Wait, do you need help in there?"
"No, Fei-yu said he's handling everything. I'm just taking a peek," Minato waved her off. She wanted to give Yui-shin some time to bond with the cat and regulate her emotions, while she went to see her man.
As she entered the kitchen, she saw Fei-yu's back as he focused on chopping vegetables. She slowed her steps, moving silently. Despite being curvy and "fleshy" in the right places, Minato was actually quite light and graceful. Because she was at home, Fei-yu wasn't on high alert and didn't notice her.
Minato watched his busy back, her violet eyes shimmering with affection. She walked up behind him and suddenly threw her arms around him, pressing her face against his back.
Fei-yu froze. He didn't turn around immediately. He identified the person through the sensation against his back. That bounce, that softness—it was like two water balloons. Those curves—large and round like ripe watermelons.
"Minato? Why aren't you out there with Yui-shin?" he asked, wiping his hands on his apron.
"I wanted to see how you were doing," she whispered, inhaling his scent.
"About twenty more minutes," he said, looking at the sliced potatoes.
"Mmh."
"Something else?" He noticed she wasn't letting go.
"No. I just wanted to hug you."
Fei-yu's hand, which was reaching for the knife, changed direction. He grabbed her soft hands at his waist and, with a sudden burst of strength, hoisted her up and sat her on the kitchen counter.
"Do you want to be with me that badly? Can't spend a minute apart?" he teased, looking into her eyes.
The blatant intimacy made Minato's face flush. She looked away, her heart racing. "Yes," she admitted softly. She couldn't lie to her own heart.
Fei-yu's smile widened. He didn't mind a "starter" before the main course. Before she could look back, he leaned in.
Their lips met in a deep, frantic kiss. Tongues entwined.
"Nnh..." Minato closed her eyes, her hands gripping his shirt. "Fei-yu... wait... Yui-shin will hear us..."
