The twentieth day after childbirth.
Lin Wan Yi sat on the bed, holding a high school math textbook in her hand.
Her face was still somewhat pale, but her eyes were focused.
Gu Yanshen came in carrying a bowl of chicken soup.
"Wanyi, drink the soup first."
Lin Wan Yi didn't even raise her head.
"Let me finish this chapter first."
Gu Yanshen frowned.
"You've just had a baby twenty days ago!"
"I know." Lin Wan Yi turned a page. "But I can't slack off."
Gu Yanshen was silent for a moment.
Finally, he sat down by the bed.
"Then I'll keep you company."

Beside the well at the family quarters.
A few gossiping women were fetching water.
"Hey, have you heard?"
"Heard what?"
"That Lin Wan Yi girl, just twenty days after childbirth, has started studying again."
"Oh, she's just putting on a show!"
"Exactly, I bet she won't pass!"
"Answering questions in the delivery room?" Another woman sneered. "I think she's just making a show of it!"
