In the clinic, Gu Yanshen slowly put down the phone receiver.
The veins on the back of his hand stood out.
"Wang Qiang has vanished into thin air."
His voice was soft, yet it was like a volcano on the verge of erupting.
Lin Wan Yi sat up from the bed, and Gu Yanshen immediately turned to stop her.
"Lie still. Don't move."
"I'm fine."
Lin Wan Yi's voice was very calm.
She looked at her husband's tense shoulders, knowing he was restraining his anger.
"Yanshen, Wang Qiang's disappearance isn't accidental."
"He knew too much, so he was silenced."
Gu Yanshen turned around, his eyes filled with suppressed fury.
"I'm going to the Intelligence Division right now. I'll dig three feet if I have to, but I'll drag out the people behind this!"
Just then, there was a knock on the door outside.
"Mr. Gu, there's a package for your wife."
It was the orderly's voice.
Gu Yanshen strode over to open the door and received a manila envelope.
