I. Dust: The Beginning of Spirit
Every spirit begins as dust or Wave form, the smallest unit of spiritual existence. All dust is mindless, drifting through the world for thousands of years before forming anything meaningful.
However, there are some special scenarios in which dust & wave forms behave unexpectedly and cause disasters.
The First Transformation: Dust → Wave Form (Invisible Spirit)
Dust does not gain visibility or shape. To become a Wave Form, it must merge with more than a billion other dust particles.
Only then does it gain structure, though still invisible to mortals. This merging can take decades, sometimes centuries, unless guided by an intelligent self-born dust such as Mahar Asru.
__________
II. Wave Form: The Invisible Wandering
Wave Forms drift between the cracks of reality, feeding on the remnants of lesser spirits, abandoned energies, and emotional residue left behind by living beings.
To ascend, they must feed relentlessly.
Wave Form → Shade Spirit (Visible Spirit)
A Wave Form becomes a Shade Spirit only after consuming countless fragments of other dust and wave forms, and accumulating 50 years of existence.
Shade Spirits are the first stage visible to mortal eyes, auroras, shadows where none should exist, flickers at the corner of vision.
Most spirits across creation never grow beyond this.
___________
III. Self-Aware Spirits: The Rarity
From the vast multitude of Shade Spirits, only a few thousandths ever reach the next realm:
Shade → Self-Aware Spirit
To become self-aware, a Shade must reach complete purity:
Consume every last impurity within itself,
Refine its form until only primordial spirit essence remains.
For common spirits, this process may take a century or two.
Once self-aware, they meditate for a century, solidifying their identity and forming a stable core.
__________
IV. Common Spirits: The First True Form
After their initial meditation, self-aware spirits condense into Common Spirits, finally capable of:
Holding a shape,
Speaking in the spirit tongue,
Forming bonds with their environment.
From here, they begin the long climb.
__________
V. Greater Spirits: Shaped by the World
After 50 years of cultivation and meditation, Common Spirits ascend to Greater Spirits.
This is the first stage where a spirit gains nature, element, and domain.
A spirit born in the forest may naturally absorb:
Wild power
Wind essence
Animal emotions
Wood vitality
Thus, it may evolve into:
A High Wind Spirit,
A Wildroot Spirit,
A Beast-Echo Spirit,
Or rare hybrid forms and so on.
Not all spirits absorb equally:
Some attain 90% of the local domain, while others grasp less than 5%.
This variance shapes their future path.
_________
VI. The High Spirit Realms
From Greater Spirits rise the four high realms, each separated by patience, power, and purity.
1. High Spirits
Those whose domain solidifies and flows with their consciousness. To reach High Spirit, one required 75 years of meditation and cultivation.
2. Epic Spirits
Spirits with personalities powerful enough to bend their domain. To reach Epic Spirit, one required 100 years of meditation and cultivation.
3. Mythical Spirits
Those so potent that mortals write legends around their existence.
To reach the Mythical rank typically requires 110 years of cultivation
Not just power, but a crystallised self, and few spirits ever taste this height.
__________
VII. The Ancient Ascension
Beyond Mythical lies a forked path, one that depends entirely on how deeply the spirit has embraced its nature.
4. Ancient Spirits
Achieved after 125 years of steady cultivation from the Mythical level.
Ancient Spirits carry memories that span eras. Their presence distorts reality around them.
5. Primal Spirits
Those who return to the fundamental forces of existence, earth, void, time, hunger, and silence.
Attainable after 150 years of constant cultivation from the Ancient level.
Primal Spirits are feared even by a few gods, for they do not obey creation's current rules, only the original ones.
__________
VIII. The Divine Reach
6. Demi God Spirits
Reached after 200 years of evolution from Primal spirits.
Rare, terrifying, and capable of influencing a village, a city, sometimes an entire region through sheer existence.
7. Godly Spirits
The final realm.
They require 500 years of uninterrupted cultivation at the Demi-God level, countless transformations, and a will stronger than extinction. It is said that there are fewer than 100 godly realms in the universe.
Godly Spirits are worshipped, bargained with, and feared. They hold authority rivalling that of lesser deities and can reshape weather, fate, memory, and even fragments of time.
____________
IX. Mahar Asru: Tears of the Great Sage
What sets the Mahar Asru apart is simple yet absolute:
They start where other spirits struggle for centuries to reach.
Their sorrow-born awareness allows them to consume, understand, and evolve faster.
The Sage never speaks of these tears. Some say the spirits are fragments of his emotion made alive.Others whisper that each tear contains a memory he wishes to forget.
Regardless, the world agrees on one truth,
A spirit born of the Sage's tears is destined either for greatness or for catastrophe.
