"Two against one?" Cannonbolt snorted coldly, curling into a yellow iron ball as it spun wildly.
As the pinnacle of his species' genetics, he knew no fear—even facing two opponents alone, he remained utterly unafraid.
Whoosh!
Ferocious crimson spikes, their edges gleaming, surged toward him at breakneck speed, carrying terrifying kinetic energy.
Cannonbolt sensed the danger and dodged sharply, rolling behind an organ.
Sssshhh!
The razor-sharp blood spear sliced through like a knife through butter, piercing over a dozen pulsing tendons in succession. A torrent of crimson fluid spurted forth as the spear slammed into the fleshy wall above.
"Gah!!" The Great One let out an agonized roar as his insides churned violently.
"Idiot!" The Humungousaur Tygon staggered, glaring at the Red Spikesnake beside him. "We're inside the Great One's body! Stop using ranged attacks!"
The Red Spikesnake sneered coldly, offering no reply. Twisting its agile tail, it charged straight toward the nearby Cannonbolt.
Raising its crimson fist, it bared crystalline spikes and roared, slamming forward to crush the flesh sphere flat.
Cannonbolt spun rapidly. Its elastic sphere stomped hard on the ground, instantly launching itself into the air to meet the Red Spikesnake's attack.
Boom!
The Red Spikesnake's fist collided with the yellow iron ball, erupting in a deafening crash.
"Ah!" The Red Spikesnake let out a piercing scream, staggering backward uncontrollably.
Clutching his arm, he felt a numbing sensation. The spikes on his fist were nearly shattered, the pain excruciating.
"You bastard, are you made of iron?!" The Red Spikesnake gritted his teeth, his chest heaving with rage.
"Pretty much. Probably harder than iron," Cannonbolt replied nonchalantly.
"This really ticks me off!"
The spikes on Red Spikesnake's hand surged, transforming into two crimson blades that slashed toward Cannonbolt in unison, intent on shredding him to pieces.
Meanwhile, Tygon had already crept silently behind Cannonbolt. Raising both fists, a sly grin touched his lips.
"You're finished, intruder!"
Boom!
The strike missed. The yellow iron ball dodged Humungousaur's sneak attack with remarkable agility, smashing an organ in the process.
Unfortunately, the Great One's heart was positioned at the very top. Otherwise, Cannonbolt could have ended it right then.
Just then, the enraged Red Spikesnake arrived.
"Die!"
He wildly swung his barbed tail, conjuring crimson sword shadows that formed an impenetrable net, closing in on Cannonbolt.
"Right on!"
Cannonbolt unleashed his full power, spinning violently as he smashed through obstructing tendons, crashing toward his opponent.
BOOM!
The arrogantly defiant Red Spikesnake instantly felt a crushing pressure in his chest, as if struck by an iron hammer. Nearly choking, he was sent flying backward at high speed.
Gazing at the iron sphere still spinning mid-air, terror flashed through his vertical pupils.
Could such terrifying defense truly exist?
Spinning within, Cannonbolt remained oblivious to the Red Spikesnake's inner turmoil. Beyond a slight prickling itch on his back, he felt nothing else.
After being flung dozens of meters backward, the Red Spikesnake transformed into a streak of light, crashing violently into the monstrous flesh wall and sending another wave of intense tremors rippling through it.
The Humungousaur's form swayed, its clumsy physique struggling to maintain its balance.
"Your turn, loser!"
Cannonbolt swung with full force, sending the stunned Humungousaur hurtling through the air.
Both of them crashed into the slick mass of organs, their bodies wracked with pain as if they had been smashed to pieces. Neither could get back up.
Cannonbolt looked up at the massive heart above, buried beneath countless layers of tendons, pulsing powerfully.
"It's time to end this."
He curled his body, transforming into a fearsome yellow iron ball, ready to launch himself upward. Destroy the Great One's heart, and it would be over—the Earth would be saved.
Suddenly, a strand of white spider silk shot from the side, sticking to the iron sphere and pinning him in place.
"What the—?"
Cannonbolt reverted to his humanoid form, scanning his surroundings warily. He reached behind him with a stubby claw and tore away the sticky web.
To his right, perched on a thick, pulsing vein, stood a blue monkey.
It was small and wiry, with four arms and four eyes, tufts of fur drooping from its temples, and a long, agile tail swaying behind it.
"Spidermonkey?" Cannonbolt froze for a moment—another Alien Hero?
No… it wasn't. This one was just an Arachnachimp, a member of Spidermonkey's species—not an Omnitrix hero.
Just like the Humungousaur Tygon earlier.
"Let me guess—another loyal slave of the Great One," Cannonbolt said evenly, his gaze calm.
"Correct. My name is Erik, and I vow eternal loyalty to the great and supreme Great One!" Spidermonkey screeched, scratching at the fur on his chest.
"So how many of you are there? You might as well all come out at once."
No sooner had he spoken than a gust of wind slammed into his face.
Cannonbolt couldn't see anything, but his instincts kicked in—he stepped back immediately.
"Heh, pretty quick reflexes." A sly, mocking voice slithered through the air ahead of him.
An invisible enemy.
Things just got tricky.
Three powerful aliens, and one could turn invisible. Even Cannonbolt, with his heavy defenses, might not withstand that.
At that moment, Humungousaur and Red Spikesnake reappeared, joining the fight. Together with Spidermonkey and the invisible one, they surrounded Cannonbolt completely.
"All together now! For the glory of the Great One!" Humungousaur roared, his voice booming like thunder.
"Hiss! Attack!" Red Spikesnake flicked his tongue, extending crimson barbs from his arms.
"Hunt down the intruder," a voice snickered from the void, echoing from every direction so that no one could tell where it came from.
"Long live the Great One!"
Spidermonkey Erik leapt down from above, his tail coiling with white spider silk before firing a web barrage toward Cannonbolt at lightning speed.
Boom!
A flurry of vicious attacks came crashing down all at once, surrounding Cannonbolt in an overwhelming wave of pressure.
Cannonbolt roared, spinning violently. He smashed through the encirclement and launched himself upward with a powerful kick.
Below, three ruthless aliens were waiting for his descent. And another one hid somewhere unseen.
Cannonbolt thrust his clawed hand to the Omnitrix on his chest—and in a flash of green light, he transformed into a blue wolf.
His muscular frame was sharply defined, covered in cobalt fur, his claws gleaming black like obsidian.
A fierce lupine head rose high, golden eyes burning bright as if they could pierce all illusion. The Omnitrix emblem pulsed proudly on his chest.
The Loboan from the planet Luna Lobo—Blitzwolfer!
Boom!
Blitzwolfer crashed down, leaving cracks across the fleshy ground.
Standing tall and fierce, he faced his enemies without a shred of fear.
"What? He can still transform?" Tygon's jaw dropped in disbelief.
"Hmph. There's so many of us—how could we possibly lose?" Red Spikesnake scoffed.
"Yeah! If we attack together, we'll take him down for sure!" Spidermonkey Erik shouted.
Tap. Tap. Tap...
A faint sound of footsteps echoed behind Blitzwolfer. He turned his head—but saw nothing.
He sighed, pretending to drop his guard.
Then, in the next instant, he spun around, claws flashing as he lunged back—his sharp wolf talons closing around an invisible figure with crushing force...
