"You really think turning into a big brute means you can beat me?" Vilgax snarled, driving his knee up hard and sending Humungousaur flying backward off the cliff.
BOOM!
A deafening crash echoed through the valley as Humungousaur's massive body smashed against the gray rock face, trailing a violent gust of wind before slamming into the ground below.
The impact cratered the earth, spiderweb cracks spreading in every direction.
Humungousaur braced himself with his thick arms and slowly pushed upright. But before he could steady his breath, Vilgax's figure blurred—he shot downward like a meteor, striking straight for Humungousaur's head.
Humungousaur's eyes narrowed coldly. His snake-like arm shot out, seizing one of Vilgax's tentacles. With a fierce twist, he executed a massive shoulder throw, slamming Vilgax into the ground with bone-rattling force.
Vilgax screamed as his jaw met the rock with a sickening crack.
"You little brat! I'll never forgive you!" he roared, grabbing a nearby boulder. With a surge of fury, he hurled it with all his might, the massive rock whistling through the air.
Humungousaur scoffed and threw a punch.
The boulder, hard as steel, shattered instantly like brittle tofu, exploding into a storm of fragments.
Snarling, Vilgax tore an entire tree from the ground, spun it around several times, and swung it viciously, trying to smash Humungousaur flat.
Boom!
A brown fist shot out, splintering the tree into countless pieces. The force behind it was monstrous.
Charging through the cloud of flying woodchips, Humungousaur lunged forward, his iron-hard fist crashing toward Vilgax with unstoppable momentum.
Vilgax met the attack head-on, clenching his massive fist. "Let me show you, Earthling—I'm not someone you can underestimate!"
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Their thunderous blows collided again and again, shaking the ground. Two beasts locked in savage combat, neither yielding an inch.
For a while, neither gained the advantage—the fight was dead even.
"Your strength… it's stronger than I expected!" Vilgax muttered, eyes narrowing in disbelief.
He had thought Humungousaur was just brute force with no real skill. He'd sent him tumbling off a cliff earlier—yet here, face to face, the alien was fighting him on equal ground.
"That's not all I've got!" Humungousaur bellowed, shoving Vilgax back with a burst of power.
His massive hands clenched. His body began to grow rapidly, bones shifting, plates of armor pushing through his back as his frame expanded higher and broader.
In seconds, he towered over twenty meters tall.
The sun vanished behind his enormous shadow, his presence radiating overwhelming power. To Vilgax, standing before him now felt like facing a mountain—or a god.
Caught off guard, Vilgax froze, eyes wide, tentacles trembling involuntarily.
Humungousaur let out a thunderous roar, his muscles tightening as he threw a colossal punch that crashed down like an avalanche.
Vilgax tried to dodge, but the fist was too massive to avoid completely.
BOOM!
The blow landed with explosive force, crushing Vilgax into the ground. The entire mountain shook from the impact, dust and rocks cascading down the cliffs.
When Humungousaur pulled his fist back, Vilgax lay broken in a crater, his body covered in wounds, struggling to move.
"It's over."
But before Humungousaur could finish him off, a pulse of green energy rippled across his body, instantly transforming him into Snare-Oh.
He glanced down at his bandaged form and sighed, shaking his head. Then his legs coiled and released like springs, launching him toward the crater at incredible speed.
Vilgax staggered to his feet, panting heavily. That last punch had left him reeling.
"Hand it o—"
Before he could finish, white bandages shot forward, wrapping around him in layers until he was bound tight like a giant cocoon.
"Don't think you can hold me, you cursed creature!" Vilgax roared, straining against the bindings.
A tremendous surge of force rippled through the wrappings—
Rip!
With a sharp crack, the bandages snapped apart. Vilgax tore himself free and charged again, unstoppable.
Snare-Oh's glowing green eyes darted upward. Spotting a branch above, he prepared to latch onto it—but then another energy pulse rippled through him, and he transformed again.
In an instant, his body shifted into Cannonbolt's round, armored form. Broad, compact, and solid, he looked like a giant walking boulder—or, perhaps, a talking panda.
As Vilgax charged in, Cannonbolt tucked his arms and legs, compressing his soft frame into a gleaming yellow sphere—solid as steel, unbreakable.
He spun at incredible speed, generating massive kinetic force as he tore through trees in his path, slamming straight toward Vilgax.
Caught off guard mid-charge, Vilgax took the full brunt of the spinning impact square in the chest.
"Argh!" he roared, the sound echoing across the valley as he was hurled backward, crashing into the dirt with a heavy thud.
Through a shallow puddle beside him, Vilgax caught sight of his own reflection—mud-caked, battered, and utterly humiliated.
"I'll kill you!" he bellowed, rage consuming him. When had he ever suffered such disgrace?
But just as he tried to rise, a whistling iron sphere came hurtling down, slamming into his head. His vision blurred, stars exploding before his eyes as he toppled back into the mud.
Cannonbolt scratched his head while standing atop Vilgax's back, kicking his stubby legs repeatedly.
The sheer weight of him nearly crushed Vilgax, forcing the alien to cough up blood.
Lucian, inside the form, couldn't help feeling irritated. The guy was like a cockroach—no matter how many times you hit him, he just wouldn't die.
Of course, Lucian knew why. The alien forms he'd used so far simply didn't have enough firepower to actually kill Vilgax.
After all, in the original timeline, this monster had survived until the very end—enduring starship crashes, explosions, even missile strikes—yet somehow always lived.
Suddenly, the Vilgax beneath him flexed his massive arms, muscles swelling as he unleashed a violent surge of strength, swinging with crushing force.
Cannonbolt curled into a sphere on instinct but was still launched through the air by the blow, smashing into a boulder before rolling to a stop.
Unfazed, he uncurled and stood up again, his expression calm.
As expected, Cannonbolt's species was famous for its near-impenetrable defense—though it wasn't exactly known for offensive power.
The rolling attack, like an iron wrecking ball, had been something Ben Tennyson originally discovered by accident.
Now, Vilgax, in his enraged power state, lumbered forward again. His huge frame was riddled with wounds, but his presence remained menacing and relentless.
"Hand... over the Omnitrix!" he growled, reaching out a clawed hand, still refusing to yield.
Cannonbolt shook his head, his round belly jiggling. "You're persistent, I'll give you that—but no chance."
"Give it to me!" Vilgax roared, finally snapping as he charged.
At that instant, a surge of energy coursed through Cannonbolt's body, his form flashing green before transforming—into Big Chill...
