As I am finishing up this arc it occurred to me that the active readers (thank you for your unconditional support!) most probably read because the first arc is Genshin.
So here's the question – should I drop the multiverse aspect? I could technically make this fanfic only about Genshin, without leaving any plot holes through the system etc.
The reason for such an idea is because for me it's mostly about practice and hobby, so I don't really mind changing stuff. The plot I've got in mind is very malleable anyway.
Whilst you guys have your own wishes while reading, I don't see a problem with trying to incorporate them into the book especially thanks to your support. It feels like I am writing for you specifically anyway 🤣
This would shorten the scope of the fanfic, letting me finish the story within one world with no strings or milking attached and without feeling that the story is pointless and endless. That way I could write a different fanfics after this one (testing other genres), or maybe finish my Skyrim work which I recklessly abandoned after burning out.
Anyway, just comment below and I'll read through everything you have to say, I'll keep up this notice chapter until publishing the new proper chapter (give me a couple of days).
