Elena's POV
I am at Dad's place and I've been hiding from Ryan. The last thing I saw about him was so disturbing and Nonna Anita has been worried about me.
A knock resounded on the door to my room. "Baby, please can I come in?" She asked me from outside.
I heaved a sigh and walked reluctantly to the door. I unlocked it and she quickly opened it up.
She made sure to step inside. "Baby, you look like you've been crying. What is the problem?"
"I….I don't want this marriage anymore, Nonna."
Her eyes widened then she looked confused. "Why don't you want it?"
"I discovered some things. I don't just want anything to do with Ryan, anymore."
"You know that he has been here, right. He knows that you must be here. Rosalyn was here too but your dad and I didn't want to make you do what you didn't want to do."
"Did Dad marry me off to some gangster?"
She jerked slightly. "Your father will never marry you off to some gangster. What gave you that impression?"
