I mourned for my baby for weeks before I got a hold of myself. I know I sounded so cold to Rita but I'm scared. I know how dangerous Rocco is especially if he thinks I snitched.
"You seem quiet since your daughter passed." Sandra's voice echoed behind me.
My back went stiff and I didn't know what to tell her. I know that she is the one that killed my baby. I heard the entire conversation before D'lores killed my baby.
"I heard that your family are owing both the Red Tusks Mafia and also the 'Drenge'. A little birdie told me that while the Drenge promised to kill your daughter if she doesn't pay up her parent's debt, the Red Tusks Mafia promised to send her to their club."
"You should leave me to mourn in peace, Ma'am."
