Alfred's POV
I gave Iza signals to distract the Omega from me so it would be easier to strike.
Iza began to have a conversation with her as I walked closer to the Omega. I'm sure she was the reflection of my shadows on the ground as she pushed Iza away and ran into the woods before I could even grab her.
I quickly transformed into my wolf form as I pursued her; there was no way an omega could outsmart a wolf, despite the species.
She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, but she was too slow for me as I jumped and pounded her, covering her with my body.
"Please don't do this to me; please don't hurt me." She screamed. "I'll serve you as much as you want."
"That won't be necessary," I said as I changed into my human form.
"Here," Iza spoke from behind, giving the knife.
A loud and painful scream escaped her mouth, and I slit her throat and cut off her head.
"Eww!" Iza yelled, irritated, as she began to throw up. "Alfred, I can't stand that; I can't." she stuttered.
"You should, because the next person is your responsibility."
"What do we do with that? You don't expect us to go into the pack all drenched in blood, right?" She asked.
"You have no spot on you; go back to the pack while I'll go see the witch goddess." I answered.
"Okay," she said, kissing me goodbye as she transformed into her wolf form and headed towards the pack.
"Good job, good job!" A voice complimented me from behind as I recognized it.
"Witch goddess, you're here?" I asked, astonished.
"Yes, I am," I heard her say, and I saw her emerge from the woods behind me, dressed in the only clothes I've always seen her in.
She let out a sinister laugh as she walked towards me and moved her gaze to the corpse. "Such an innocent prey."
"I was about to come to see you." I cleared my throat as I told her.
"Why?" She asked, leaving her gaze on me.
I stood confused for a second, as I expected her to know that.
"For this, of course." I stared at her.
"You just wasted this young girl's life, Alfred." She continued.
"Hold on, goddess, is this some sort of joke or what? You requested two heads of omega's, and I'm bringing one for the start." I spoke calmly, trying to cool off the anger that I was feeling.
"Go ahead," she said. "I don't; that was all I told you."
I stared at her in confusion as I moved my gaze at the corpse as my thoughts wandered, trying to remember.
"Are you talking about the werewolf?"
She laughed again as she lingered her gaze on me for a second. "I'm talking about letting no one know about this."
"But I killed him; he has died with the secret."
"Secret? You call this a secret; you should be bothered about your death because I warned you!" Her voice began to bore anger.
"No one knows about this; it's just me and Iza." I paused, realizing what I had just said.
"I'm glad you now realize what I'm talking about," she laughed as she turned her back to leave.
"But Iza is my Luna; we share almost everything together, and confiding in her is like keeping a secret." I explained.
"You disobeyed the rules, and you must be punished for it."
"Goddess, what do I have to do? Please spare my life!" I pleaded.
"There's nothing to be done; you must die one day, and the Alpha tittle will be taken away from you. Bear that in mind, but before then, if you need anything, call me," she said, disappearing into thin air.
Iza's POV
I got to the pack in no time, as I found the guards watching the pack as expected.
"My Luna, are you okay?" one of the guards asked upon seeing me.
"Mind your business!" I bluntly said this as I made my way in.
As soon as I got to my room, I quickly rushed to the bathroom and threw out everything I had in my stomach as the scene in the forest kept playing in my head.
I couldn't find sleep as I panted around my room and peered through my door to see when Alfred returned.
A few minutes later, I began to hear footsteps. Recognizing who's footsteps belonged to, I quickly ran out of my room and waited for him to come.
"Welcome, baby," I told him as I tried holding his hands, but he pushed me aside.
I became confused at first but decided not to take it to heart as I followed him in.
He didn't utter a word to me as he panted from one end of his room to the other as he swayed his hands on his hair.
"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked in a confused and worried tone.
"I'll appreciate it if you let me be for now," he replied firmly.
"Now I'm confused. Did I leave you happy, or why all these? What did she say? You can tell me anything," I said, coming close to him.
"Iza, I'm not in a fight space of mind; just leave, and I'll tell you what you need to know tomorrow."
"No, tell me now! How do you expect me to sleep? Come on, babe, talk to me, and maybe we can resolve it." I pleaded.
"Resolve?" He let out a laughter with hidden pains. "It's all gone! My days as an Alpha are numbered! All thanks to you! All thanks to you, Iza." He screamed.
"What?" I startled in shock. "Alfred, how could you sit on something like that? Where are all these coming from?"
"Iza, just get prepared because we can't escape it." He told me as he walked towards his door.
"You just keep speaking in parables; tell me what the fuck happened!"
"Leave!" he said, bearing no emotions as
opens his door.
