"Now start talking. But let me warn you, if you dare lie to me again, it will be the worst mistake you ever make," Kaila said after Ed entered the room and she locked the door. While speaking, she walked to her wardrobe, pulled out a shotgun, and pointed it at Ed, who was casually sitting on the edge of the bed as if in his own house, removing his shoes.
"Hehehe, this is something new. You never mentioned you were a sharpshooter. I'm scared," Ed let out a wild laugh, watching Kaila point the gun at him with trembling hands, trying to put on a brave, strong facade. He shook his head, walked toward her without showing any fear, took her trembling hand, placed the gun's barrel against his own heart, moved his face close to hers, and spoke with a smile.
"Shoot if you think I've ever lied to you..."
"See? No matter what your brain tells you, your heart firmly believes I never lied." Ed shook his head, snatched the gun from her, tossed it aside, and hugged her tightly.
