Chapter 141 - Chapter 141 I'm Not Interested in Pokémon, But I'm Very Interested in Killing Goh

"The voice isn't right."

Hearing the 'Gardevoir's' laugh, Cynthia's expression changed.

Her close friend, the Kalos League Champion Diantha, had a Gardevoir as her ace.

Therefore, Cynthia knew very well that a Gardevoir's voice shouldn't sound like that.

However, at that moment, a voice suddenly came softly from behind the 'Gardevoir', "In battle, never celebrate too early."

As the voice sounded, a person moved.

A large hand grabbed the 'Gardevoir' by the scruff of its neck and pressed it to the ground.

The moment it fell, its dress fluttered.

It was a bit of a scene not suitable for Children show broadcast.

"Mee..."

The 'Gardevoir', pressed to the ground, let out another wronged sound like a kitten. It looked incredulously at the Lott behind it who was holding its neck, then turned to look at the 'Lott' opposite who maintained a reaching posture.

But the next second, the 'Lott' in front quickly turned into a mirage-like bubble and vanished without a trace.

"Afterimage Technique. I haven't used it in years because its power couldn't keep up, but it's quite good for teasing naughty little cats."

Lott lifted the 'Gardevoir' with a somewhat playful look in his eyes.

"Chu mi mi~"

The Psychic Empress struggled unhappily in Lott's grasp, its body glowing again.

Two seconds later, it transformed into a petite, pink, cat-like Pokémon with a tail almost longer than its entire body.

Looking at this cat whose appearance had drastically changed but was still struggling because Lott held the scruff of its neck-

The two golden-haired beauties, Cynthia and Erina, were speechless with shock.

A full two minutes passed. By the time Lott had been kneading the little cat in his hand for a while, Cynthia finally snapped out of it and softly uttered the cat's name:

"Mew..."

"I'd heard you possess the DNA of all Pokémon, able to transform into any Pokémon and use their moves at will. I never expected you'd come looking for me."

Lott held Mew's two small hands, one in each of his, making it spread its limbs.

The next second, he suddenly released his right hand and started rubbing its round little belly.

"Mee-!"

Mew immediately let out a scream that was half-cry, half-laugh.

It finally broke free from Lott's clutches and swiftly flew behind Erina to hide.

But in less than five seconds, Mew peeked its little head out from behind Erina's shoulder, its big, round eyes observing Lott.

It had sensed an immense power earlier, and then the auras of Palkia and Dialga, those two big guys, vanished.

'W-Was it related to this human?'

"Wow, this little one is so cute~"

Erina intertwined her hands, fingers clasped together, showing a girl's natural yearning for cute things.

It was just like the mascots in magical girl manga.

"Chu mi~~"

Mew suddenly felt this golden-haired human female was also a bit scary and moved slightly further away from Erina, continuing to fly around Lott and observe him.

"Erina, since you like this little thing so much, why not try catching it?"

Lott suggested.

"Chu mi!"

Mew unhappily put its two short hands on its hips, 'I wasn't some 'thing'!'

"C-Catch it?"

Erina blinked in confusion.

The professional tour guide Cynthia immediately explained: "The usual method to catch wild Pokémon is to weaken them in battle, then throw a Poké Ball. But since you don't have a Pokémon for battle, Erina, I recommend playing the emotional card. Use toys or food as bait."

Lott added, "If you don't have your own Pokémon partner, you can always beat it into submission with your own fists."

Cynthia rolled her eyes hard.

She remembered Lott's 'catching' battle with Rover again.

Hearing this, Erina was delighted. She casually picked up a stone.

Under the astonished gazes of Mew and Cynthia, the stone turned into an apple.

"Here, here, little kitty, have this to eat~"

Mew had long grown tired of Berries.

But it was curious about the taste of the fruit this human had created out of thin air.

So it floated over and took a small bite.

"Bleh~"

Feeling the impact from its taste buds, Mew stuck out its tongue and spat out all the pulp.

"How could this be…"

Erina looked wronged.

"You're not skilled enough with the Kuku Kuku no Mi yet."

Lott couldn't help but laugh.

"D-Don't be discouraged, Erina-chan. No one catches Legendary Pokémon right from the start. Start by catching ordinary Pokémon."

Cynthia hurriedly stuffed a few black-and-yellow Ultra Balls into Erina's hands.

The catch rate for common Pokémon like Oddish or Caterpie with an Ultra Ball was close to 100%.

"Th-Thank you. I'll go take a look then."

Not wanting Lott to see her on the verge of tears, Erina turned and walked away quickly.

'I must catch a Pokémon cuter than that cat!'

Being without a partner Pokémon in the wild was dangerous.

But Lott didn't go after Erina.

He could simply sense her Ki.

He took out the Capsule Corp. capsule Bulma had given him and tossed it onto an empty spot by the river.

Instantly, a small villa appeared out of thin air.

"Chu mi!?"

Mew showed a shocked cat face.

"Huh? You're still here?"

Lott looked curiously at Mew.

Mew also stared back at Lott, wide-eyed.

'What's wrong with you, human?'

'All the other humans who saw me wanted to catch me desperately. Why are you eager for me to leave?!'

The pink cat grew angrier the more it thought. It flew into the house, opened the refrigerator, and began a whirlwind-level sweep.

'Hmph!'

'You hurt my feelings!'

'I won't be satisfied until I've eaten all your food!'

"Lott-san, you aren't interested in Mew?"

Cynthia had just recovered from the shock of Lott materializing a house out of thin air and was immediately shocked again by Lott's attitude towards Mew.

She had never seen anyone so calm upon encountering a Legendary Pokémon.

"What use do I have for it?"

Lott retorted.

Faced with this counter-question, Cynthia herself was momentarily speechless.

'W-Well, that's true...'

Most trainers who desire Legendaries desire their immense power.

But did Lott need that sort of thing?

Not to mention a non-combat-oriented Legendary like Mew… even a combat expert among Legendaries like Rayquaza, Cynthia suspected Lott could swat it dead with one slap.

Hearing Lott's dismissive words, Mew's eating became even more ferocious.

'This human is so annoying!'

Half an hour later, Mew lay sprawled on the coffee table, its belly bulging as if pregnant with a Mewtwo, completely satisfied.

Erina returned at this time, but her pretty face looked even more wronged than when she left.

"What's wrong?"

Lott asked.

Earlier, it was just a bit of unwillingness and slight grievance. But now, it seemed she was really about to cry.

"I met a really annoying guy just now!"

Erina bit her lower lip with her silver teeth, trying hard not to cry.

Cynthia's expression was priceless.

'How could some jerk manage to provoke Lott in the brief time I looked away?'

'Although it wasn't Lott himself, provoking his woman probably wasn't much better.'

Erina recounted her experience.

Originally, she had caught a Combee with an Ultra Ball, then set her sights on a Chansey.

She had already lured it with food and was about to throw a Poké Ball.

Suddenly, a red-and-white Poké Ball flew from the side.

It hit the Chansey, catching it in one shot.

This made Erina very angry. She said this Chansey was the one she had seen first, and the food on the ground was placed by her to lure it.

But the other party ignored her. After checking the Chansey's data with a Pokédex and saying, 'It's not Mew transformed', he simply released the Chansey and walked away.

After hearing Erina's description, Lott's eyes had narrowed into slits.
