Chapter 43 - Chapter 41 - Unexpected Guardians

The first ones to arrive at Miss Emmy's house were Sasha and Miss Eva.

"Umm, Sasha, how much deeper do we have to go?" Miss Eva glanced around nervously at the unfamiliar surroundings, finding the place uncomfortable as she wasn't used to these kinds of neighbourhoods.

"Hmm, looks like your husband has taken good care of you, Miss Eva," Sasha said with a reassuring smile. "Don't worry—they won't pounce at you. Walk with confidence and let them stare all they want. You can't control those bastards' eyes. If they do anything, then we'll send them flying!" Sasha puffed her cheeks out confidently, showing herself and Lurvi how strong they both looked.

"Lurrr! Lurrrr!!" Lurvi also tried to mimic an angry face like Sasha.

"Haha, sure, sure! I'll depend on my two new friends for protection," Miss Eva laughed warmly as they walked toward Miss Emmy's house.

"Ah, by the way, Miss Eva, you should stretch a little bit because you'll need your back in full power when we visit Miss Emmy's house. Hehehe." Sasha smiled mysteriously as she started running, with Lurvi happily following her.

"Huh? What do you mean? And why are you running? Moooo, I can't run much! Don't leave me behinddd!" Miss Eva called out helplessly as she also started running.

.

"Huff... huff... ugghh! I feel like I've done a year's worth of work in a single evening! Ughh, I'm tired..." Miss Eva breathed hard, bending down with her hands on her knees, sweating profusely. Her naked shoulder glistened with sweat, making her deep cleavage drenched.

"Hehehe, isn't it fun?" Sasha laughed heartily as they finally reached Miss Emmy's house.

Seeing Sasha so full of energy despite everything, Miss Eva smiled while coming closer and gently patted her back. "Don't worry—your brother and the others will be fine. Calm down, okay, Sasha?" Miss Eva smiled sweetly at her.

Hearing this, Sasha first looked a little shocked, but then she relaxed a bit, holding Lurvi in her embrace. "Hmm, I know they'll be fine," she said, shaking off her worries as she entered Miss Emmy's courtyard.

"Hmm, isn't this a bit luxurious for a place like this?" Miss Eva observed the slightly large courtyard in this 1st Rock district, which made her feel this isn't a normal place after all.

"Oh, that? Well..." Sasha was about to explain when—

CREEEAAKKK!

The door opened suddenly, and Miss Emmy came out. "Sasha, you're here! Come with me—I need some help with the meat Grandpa gave me. Oh my! We have a guest. Welcome, ma'am! I'm Emmy. Please feel free to roam around and, if possible, look after them." Miss Emmy bowed politely, welcoming Miss Eva.

"Oh, sure, sure! Let's go! This is our new friend, Miss EVANGELINE WILSON. She'll also stay with us for a while. Let's go, Emmy!" Sasha said hurriedly, leaving Miss Eva alone in the courtyard.

"Ugghh, what just happened? I didn't even have the chance to speak or ask what to take care of—"

"KYYAAAAAA!!!"

Suddenly, she felt someone touching her rear from behind. She backed up quickly and saw a little kid standing there.

"BBBAAAGG BAAAGGGG!" The small girl made gibberish sounds, shaking left and right with a cute smile on her face.

"Ummm, hello there. Where is your mommy, little child?" Miss Eva asked gently while still a little surprised of sudden person coming behind her, but the girl just continued making unintelligible sounds. BAAGGG BAAABBB! The girl said something again.

"Hmm, what are you saying, are you related to Miss Emmy?" Miss Eva looked around at a loss, trying to find someone nearby, but couldn't spot anyone. "Umm, littl—"

Miss Eva turned around again.

"AAAA!!"

There were more little ones now—some normal kids and some disabled kids surrounding her.

"She says you have big boobs, ma'am," a boy on a rolling board said casually, moving himself forward with the help of a cylindrical object.

"Ahhh!" Miss Eva subconsciously covered her breasts in embarrassment, backing up slightly, surprised by so many little ones. In panic, she looked around again but still couldn't find anyone. But when she turned around once more—

"KYAAA!! Where are you guys popping up from?!" Miss Eva saw the whole courtyard, which had felt big before, now felt congested and covered by little kids all over the place, with their broken toys taking up the remaining spaces.

"BIGG BIIGG BBAAGG BGGGG BAAAA BIIGGG BIIGGG BIIGGGG BAAAAGGG BBBBAAAHHH BBBHHHGGGG BBIIIIGGGG!" Many kids started circling around Miss Eva, singing the single word and laughing.

Miss Eva stood there in confusion, looking at all the kids surrounding her. She didn't know why, but suddenly her eyes got wet as she subconsciously touched her belly. She felt like she was in the middle of a dream, surrounded by little kids. She tried to look at every kid's face, moving with them in a full circle. A huge smile came across her face as she opened her arms wide and started rotating in one place while the other kids, like stars, revolved around her.

"Hahahaha! I AM NOT BIG, YOU GUYS! HAHAHHA!!" Miss Eva rotated for a while but slowly got tired, but the kids kept shouting loudly.

"OYYYEEE! YOOUUU LIITTTLLEE ONNNEESS! KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN!!" Sasha suddenly came outside and shouted.

"GAHHH! It's Big Sister Sasha!" Some of the kids came running and hugged her, climbing all over her. Now Sasha was covered in little ones. Lurvi was also playing as she floated above while some kids tried to catch her.

"Big Sister Sasha, where is Brother Zack? Is he not with you? Where is he? Did he leave you? Small!" Many questions bombarded Sasha, who like a pro held the little ones in her arms—some on her shoulders, some hanging on her dress, and one perched above her head.

"Ugghh! Don't worry—that little brother of mine can't live without this beautiful sister of his! He'll come back soon! And who said I'm small? Don't you dare compare someone with another person! Everyone is beautiful—big or small doesn't matter. You should respect everyone! Don't tease her like that!" Sasha reprimanded the little ones firmly.

"Hmmm, scary, scary, scary!" The kids ran away from her, but they still came to Miss Eva and said, "SORRY! SARRY! SURRY! SORRY!" One by one, the kids apologized.

Miss Eva's heart felt warmth spread through it. She bent down and patted the little ones gently. "It's okay, little ones. I'm not mad! Sasha is right—every person is beautiful. It just needs the right eyes to see them!" Miss Eva also taught them kindly.

"EAVN I AM BAUTIFOL?" the disabled girl asked while checking her body, unable to rest in one place.

"Hmmm." Miss Eva brought her closer and hugged her gently. "Yes, my little one, you are also beautiful!"

The girl smiled happily and hugged her back. Seeing this, the others also hugged her. Now Miss Eva was covered in little ones as she struggled to hold them all. She stood up carefully—

"ACCKKK! MY BACCKK!!" She groaned in pain.

Sasha laughed as she patted the rolling board boy affectionately beside her and said, "Then I guess I'll leave them to you. Don't worry—they'll calm down after a while." Sasha went inside, leaving a stunned Miss Eva with many little ones and Lurvi, who floated around making the kids exhausted from chasing her.

"Aahh! I guess I have to play with you guys a little! Hehehe." Miss Eva smiled happily despite her exhaustion. For the first time, she felt the feeling of a mother—how hard it could be and how happy she could be, both at the same time.

.

"Ouch!"

"Hey, easy there, Emmy! Why is a professional making a mistake here?" Sasha came in smiling and saw Emmy had cut her finger slightly.

"Sasha, can't professionals make mistakes or what?" Emmy pouted in anger.

"Sure, sure they can—we're all human beings." Sasha came over and helped heal her wound a little.

"So where are Zack and the others? Why are you alone?" Emmy asked casually while getting healed.

"Huh! What's with everyone saying I'm alone? Can't I be alone? They ran off somewhere chasing some weird people—they'll come back soon," Sasha said in a frustrated voice.

"Hmm, well, maybe others aren't used to seeing you much alone without Zack. Mother Veny said even as a kid, you never left him from your grasp. If you did, then this lady would have had a cute little brother of her own alone!" Emmy teased her playfully.

"Huh!" Sasha's face turned red in embarrassment. "Geez, Mother Veny keeps speaking nonsense! And don't dream of him—he's my little one! Don't you already have so many?!" Sasha went from anger to a warm smile as both girls worked on the meat while laughing and enjoying their time together.

"Hmm, that shampoo bastard still didn't come, haan? I thought he would come soon after going to the Palace," Emmy said in a daze as she kept talking.

"Huh? Shampoo bastard? Who is that? Going to the Palace? Are you talking about Oliver? What's with 'shampoo bastard'? Hahahah! Don't curse him—he's a good kid. Hmm, wait a second... how did he make plans with you here? ARREEE YOOUUU GUUYSS INNN SEECCRREETT...?" Sasha teased while nudging her shoulder playfully.

"GGUUHHHH! Don't speak nonsense! We're not like that! It just happened, okay? Just a coincidence that we made plans together!" Emmy said embarrassedly as her hands moved faster than ever.

"OOOOHHHHHHHH, okay, okay! It's a coincidence—I accept your reasoning!" Sasha smiled happily as she hummed in happiness.

"Hey, stop doing that! Why are you so happy?" Emmy glared at Sasha, who was slightly dancing and humming as she worked in the kitchen.

"Huh? What do you mean? I'm normal! Why would I be happy working with you here?" Sasha still couldn't hide her big smile.

"GUUHH! Do you think I'm stupid? How many years have we been friends? I can just at a glance see you're way too happy about this! Stop dancing around and work properly, you little useless bitch!" Emmy roared in anger.

"YES, YES, SURE, MA'AM!!" Sasha ignored her complaint cheerfully as she turned around and kept dancing and working.

.

.

"Uff, finally my hands were a little free, and now they've gotten filled again!"

"Huh? It's your fault, Veny! You just buy too much! Those little kids can't eat all this!!"

"Shut up! How could I stop when I think of those little ones? KYAAA! So cuutteee! Compared to them, you, Ariana, are quite annoying to look at." Mother Veny made a disgusting face at her.

"Huh? See, Silja? See this stupid woman making this beautiful lady look bad! You should take my side, Siljaaa!" Mother Ariana protested in anger.

"Ummm, I think I should go back..." Gloomy Mother subconsciously touched her head for her beanie hat but couldn't find anything. She walked along, hiding behind the two mothers, making herself as small as possible and trying to cover her naked shoulder with one free hand while carrying bags in the other.

"SHUT YOUR WHINING AND KEEP WALKING!!" Both mothers roared at her.

"Agghh!!" Gloomy Mother stopped saying anything and followed them silently.

"Hmm, what do we have here?" The trio saw a big-breasted woman having a hard time dealing with so many kids. Even Lurvi, tired from playing, had taken a resting spot on the orphanage structure and sat down to rest.

"Ara, it looks like we got ourselves a new friend! Hehe." Both mothers smiled as they walked inside.

"Hey there, little ones! Look who's here! Your beautiful mothers brought you some new toys and food!" Both mothers shouted to gain attention from the kids, and suddenly they got surrounded by them.

"Easy now, easy! Everyone will get their share!"

Suddenly, Miss Eva felt so light as she sat down on a chair in the courtyard, catching her breath. "Uuggh, taking care of kids is hard..." But she still smiled at the smiling kids around her.

"Uwwahhhhh!!" Gloomy Mother got attacked by so many little ones. She grew flustered and went into confusion mode as she barely managed to hand over the things she had with her.

Slowly, the kids took their share and scattered around, eating and playing among themselves.

"Hey there! I'm Mother Veny... I mean, VENY O'HURLEY!"

"Ariana Healey is my name!"

"Umm, Silja Mac... hello."

"Ah! Hello! I'm EVANGELINE WILSON! I just came to this city recently. I became friends with Sasha and the other kids." Miss Eva bowed politely to the mothers.

"Ara, then you must have already seen my kids! Where are those rascals, Fia and Blake?" Mother Veny sat down and asked her.

"Umm, they went somewhere with Zack and another girl. They'll come back here soon," Miss Eva told her.

"Hmmm, now that I think about it, where are Gloomy and Sio?" Mother Ariana also sat down, looking around.

"Hmm, there are no other big kids here. Only Sasha and Emmy are inside," Miss Eva spoke while fixing her dress and hair a little to make herself look more like a proper lady.

"I wonder where they went. I hope they're okay! Sighhh! They make me so worried sometimes. Are you okay, Silja? Are you not worried about Gloomy?" Mother Ariana sighed in worry

Gloomy Mother just sat on a chair and nodded. "Hmm, I'm fine. Theo comes back safely every time. I sometimes have to take customers at night, and then Theo just wanders around the city alone and comes back after some hours. I'm not really worried," Silja said with slight discomfort not used to gathering like these.

"Hmm, I guess that's true since Gloomy has power and all!" Mother Veny smiled sweetly.

"But still, it's not good for his health! Because of this, he's developed irregular sleeping habits," Mother Ariana said with slight anger in her voice.

"Ugghh!!" Gloomy Mother couldn't look them in the eyes.

"Geez, stop it! She's come so far—stop making her feel bad, Ariana!" Mother Veny pouted in anger.

"Hahah, I was just pulling her leg! Don't worry, Silja—we're here for you. Keep it slow and steady." Mother Ariana squeezed Gloomy Mother's hand gently, and she just nodded in response.

Miss Eva didn't ask for details but could guess what they meant. They talked to each other as some time passed, sharing stories and watching over the children together.
