"So all this luggage—you had it shipped back yourself? Didn't you say you didn't come to the apartment last night?" Sophie asked, a bit dazed.
"Are you dumb? Nowadays there's delivery service—you don't have to lug huge bags around yourself; they just ship it straight to your door! Checked baggage on the plane is super expensive too, you know!" Con looked extremely pleased with his own cleverness.
"You're the smartest. You thought of such a great way—and saved money too!"
The two of them chatted as they headed downstairs to the car and drove toward IKEA. There was a large IKEA store within 10 kilometers of the apartment, fully stocked with furniture and daily necessities. They planned to spend the entire afternoon doing all their shopping in one go.
