I didn't even consider the academy's S-Rank dorms; even if they were still standing, unlike the rest of the dormitory district, since they weren't part of the examination arena.
They were still far too close for comfort, for what we were about to do, I needed a place no one would stumble into by accident.
And while I was definitely powerful enough to suppress or isolate magic, I doubted I could keep a tight lid on anything if I lost myself in the moment.
Naturally, my own estate was out of the question, far too close to the city, and even the faintest leak of magic, or sound, could drag my family name into scandal.
I needed somewhere distant.
Somewhere... out of reach.
Utterly isolated.
