Under everyone's astonished gazes, Smith adapted to ten times gravity within minutes. From struggling to walk initially, he progressed to punching, kicking, and jumping with increasing fluidity.
"Master Smith is so powerful!" Puar exclaimed.
The gathered Fraternity members echoed the sentiment with admiration.
"As expected of a god among men," someone murmured.
Yelena, standing nearby, watched Smith with eyes full of worship.
Ordinary people couldn't survive extended periods under twice gravity, let alone exercise. Even astronauts, trained for extreme conditions, could only work briefly under three to four times gravity rather than performing intensive exercise.
Seeing Smith's performance, everyone understood how powerful their leader truly was, and how unattainable that level seemed.
Smith didn't let everyone simply observe. After basic exercises, he walked out and asked Bulma to reduce gravity to 1.5 times, then invited Fox, Wesley, John Wick, Alexei, and others to experience it firsthand.
As people entered the gravity field, Smith smiled. The next second, information flooded into his mind.
The Dragon Balls had revived.
A year had passed since John Wick resurrected his wife. Smith wondered who the next lucky person to make a wish would be. Simultaneously, anticipation filled him for the next three summons, curious how much his strength would improve this time.
Due to Smith's increased power level, a change had occurred with the Dragon Balls. Anyone who came into contact with them would instantly learn of their abilities. Smith became aware of this modification but didn't particularly care.
However, Smith didn't know the contact requirement included humans who'd survived previous encounters with the Dragon Balls.
He closed his eyes, using his senses to determine each Dragon Ball's location and identify how many people already possessed them.
Around the world, the seven Dragon Balls had transformed from their dormant stone state back into their true glowing forms.
In London, England, a wealthy young man watched a viral video of an internet celebrity using a scouter to find people with power levels above 5. He wanted to replicate the experience.
He arrived at a subway station wearing his scouter. Masters hid among common people, he believed, and subway stations had massive foot traffic.
"I wonder if I'll encounter a Transcendent or someone extraordinary."
With scouters' widespread adoption, people without special abilities but power levels at or exceeding 8 points earned the designation "Transcendent."
Passengers constantly boarded and exited trains. The young man conducted power level tests enthusiastically.
"5.0, 5.5, 4.3..."
"Wait, 3.7? Is that guy a drug addict?"
As he continued observing, a muscular man suddenly appeared, pushing through the crowd aggressively.
"Ten... ten points? How is that possible?" The young man's eyes widened. "I'm so lucky! I actually met a Transcendent!"
He walked toward the muscular man, eager to make an introduction.
However, after several steps, the man suddenly stopped, spun around, and shouted, "Vampire!"
The man pulled two submachine guns from beneath his jacket and opened fire.
Bullets sprayed indiscriminately, hitting people in front of him without regard for innocent lives. Passengers screamed and fled in every direction. Those about to enter the subway heard gunshots and ran away, abandoning their commute plans.
The wealthy young man witnessed everything with his mouth hanging open, frozen in shock. "Did he just say vampire?"
The muscular man walked forward, dual submachine guns blazing, targeting a pale man in the crowd.
Another figure suddenly emerged, drawing a pistol and firing at the muscular man.
Bang. Bang. Bang.
This time the muscular man couldn't dodge. Multiple rounds struck him, and he collapsed.
However, as he fell, purple veins appeared across his body. His expression turned feral, his skin taking on a burned appearance.
Seeing the transformation, the young man felt terror grip him. What kind of ammunition was that?
A woman dressed entirely in black leather, wearing a long coat, emerged with dual pistols. She opened fire on the fallen man.
Her weapons' firepower suppressed him. The man rolled behind a pillar to reload.
As bullets flew wildly, the young observer reacted, diving into a corner. Bullets had no eyes, and he didn't want to die here.
Selene, currently pursuing the werewolf, noticed the wealthy man wearing a scouter. Her expression tightened slightly.
She hid beside cover and began reloading while considering how to handle this civilian. With the scouter present, everything about vampires and werewolves would be exposed.
She hadn't expected to encounter someone carrying a scouter in a subway station. She wondered if it might be a knockoff. After all, faced with products costing $5 million, or £5 million here in Britain, many people carried counterfeits for show.
While both sides reloaded, another gunman appeared at the subway entrance and opened fire on the muscular man.
Under sustained fire, the man fled frantically into a subway car.
With shooters on both sides, no one paid attention to the wealthy observer wearing the scouter. Selene chased the werewolf onto the railway tracks, pursuing deeper into the tunnel.
Another vampire and the muscular man exchanged fire through the subway car's glass windows.
Both quickly exhausted their ammunition. The pale man ran onto the train, chasing his target.
Seeing everyone about to disappear from view, the young man hiding in the corner breathed a sigh of relief. He took the opportunity to run toward the exit.
The pale man and the muscular man chased each other through the car, eventually rushing out and falling onto the railroad tracks.
They faced each other. Suddenly the muscular man transformed. His body and bones shifted, and in an instant he changed from human to a bipedal werewolf. The pale man opposite revealed elongated fangs.
With synchronized roars, they immediately began fighting.
The young man glanced back just in time to witness the scene.
"Holy shit, there really are werewolves!" His voice came out as a shocked whisper. "Could the other guy actually be a vampire?"
The transformed werewolf quickly dispatched the vampire, then glanced at the train platform. Without hesitation, he fled into the darkness.
