Chapter 96 - Oh No! The Emperor Stood Up

"Alright, stop playing with them," the Emperor's voice echoed throughout the entire Grand Hall, not from the Golden Throne but directly in everyone's ears.

"How much longer are you going to carry me around?"

The Custodes on the ground abruptly looked up, staring intently at the dried corpse. Although the voice didn't come from there, they were absolutely certain that it was their Emperor.

A few Custodes writhed forward, trying to get closer to the God in their hearts.

"Fine, how boring." Ian curled his lip and let go.

The Emperor's body floated in the air, enveloped in a layer of faint golden Energy Field, not crashing to the ground as expected.

Ian had originally wanted to tease these loyal Custodes a bit more, but since the man himself had spoken, he'd spare them for now.

"I won't play with you guys just yet. I need to treat your great Emperor first. After sitting on this Golden Toilet for ten thousand years, I can't imagine how severe the Hemorrhoids must be."

Upon hearing this, the Custodes collectively turned pale. They were practically enraged.

Then Ian waved his hand.

Splash!

In the center of the Grand Hall, the originally thick and solid floor rippled like water, and a Platform made of blocks rose from the ground.

This Platform was a typical MC style, perfectly square, adorned with a few Glowstone blocks around the edges.

Ian gently laid the Emperor's dried corpse flat on the Platform.

"Everyone, please prepare yourselves mentally," Ian said to the Custodes with the demeanor of a doctor. "The upcoming Procedure might be a bit bloody."

Treating the Emperor was a delicate task that required absolute precision. He first took several Body Stones from his Inventory and placed them around the Platform.

This was to ensure the Emperor's fragile body wouldn't suddenly fall apart. After all, who knew if these old bones could still withstand the ordeal?

Next, Ian began to deal with the various Debuffs on the Emperor.

Once that was done, Ian pulled out a crude-looking Scalpel from his Inventory.

"Time to dismantle these Mechanical Parts," Ian said to the Emperor. "It might hurt a little. Bear with it."

The Emperor did not reply to Ian. Physical Pain could no longer cause him any disturbance.

Ian began to dismantle the various Implants and Pipelines connected to the Emperor. These cold machines were tightly bound to the Emperor's flesh, bearing witness to his ten thousand years of suffering and struggle.

Click... clack...

With Ian's movements, Parts were dismantled one by one and piled up next to the Platform.

Some Parts had actually fused with the Emperor's Bones, forcing Ian to use special Separation Techniques.

Before long, these Parts had piled up like a mountain, their weight likely heavier than the Emperor himself.

Some Custodes showed sorrowful expressions upon seeing these machines that had once been connected to the Emperor's body.

Finally, Ian removed all the Implants from the Emperor's body.

"Whew—" He let out a long breath, wiping away non-existent sweat from his forehead. "The trickiest part is finally done."

Next was nutritional supplementation.

Ian directly took a stack of Enchanted Golden Apples from his Inventory and began stuffing them into the Emperor's mouth one by one.

"Open wide, ah—"

These were excellent items, containing powerful Life Energy, enough to revive any person on the brink of death.

As the Golden Apples were shoved in, the Emperor's body began to change visibly.

The shriveled skin gradually plumped up, the sunken eye sockets grew fuller, and even the dry white hair began to turn black.

"Not bad. It's a good thing the Enchanted Golden Apples worked."

He had been worried that if the Golden Apples were ineffective, he'd have to try the Infinity Meatball.

But that thing's Energy was too volatile, and he was genuinely afraid that he might accidentally make the Emperor explode.

When Ian finished stuffing the fifteenth Enchanted Golden Apple and was about to insert the sixteenth, a hand suddenly grabbed his wrist.

"Stop. I'll eat them myself."

The Emperor slowly sat up, his voice still a bit weak.

A trace of helplessness was evident in his majestic eyes.

He took the Enchanted Golden Apples from Ian's hand and began to eat them. A large amount of Energy quickly integrated into his body.

The Custodes watching nearby trembled with excitement at this sight.

Their Emperor had finally recovered!

Finally, after eating half a stack of Golden Apples, the Emperor was restored to his appearance before he was seated on the Golden Throne.

Ian walked around the Emperor. He could sense the Emperor's physical condition. After he took away the Authority of Destruction and Dark Divinity, the Emperor's Power had indeed weakened slightly.

"How are you feeling?" Ian asked.

The Emperor moved around, feeling his body for a moment. "Better than at any point in the last ten thousand years."

"But it's not enough," Ian shook his head. "Compared to the Four Chaos Gods of the Immaterium, you're still lacking a little."

"I need stronger Power." The Emperor looked directly at Ian, a hint of determination flashing in his eyes. "For Mankind."

"Just what I was thinking." Ian grinned, pulling out a Meatball shimmering with cosmic starlight from his Inventory. "Open wide. This is much more potent than a Golden Apple."

The Emperor accepted the Infinity Meatball without hesitation, swallowing and instantly refining it.

Boom!

An unprecedented burst of Energy erupted. The entire Grand Hall shook violently, and the Custodes were knocked to the ground by the golden Psychic Shockwave.

The Emperor's body floated up, surrounded by a golden Psychic Storm. The Energy, like a living thing, surged, reorganized, and strengthened within him.

"What kind of Power is this?" The Emperor's voice sounded in Ian's mind, carrying shock and awe.

"The Essence of the Universe, the Source of all things. How does it taste?"

The Emperor did not answer; he was busy adapting to the rapidly increasing Power within him. His Immaterium Projection began to change.

The Flames of Vengeance, the Radiance of Humanity, the Tenacity of Mankind, the Will to Struggle, the Unyielding Faith.

Ian nodded in satisfaction: "I took away your Destruction and Darkness, but I left you with the qualities better suited to you. After all, you are the Guardian of Mankind, aren't you?"

"Of course. From now on, you're one of mine too."

The Emperor was silent for a moment, then nodded: "For Mankind, any sacrifice is worth it. And this is not a bad thing."

As the Emperor's Power stabilized, an unprecedented golden Psychic Fluctuation began to spread throughout the Universe. This wave penetrated the material world, reaching the depths of the Immaterium.

In every corner of the Immaterium, the Four Chaos Gods sensed this Fluctuation simultaneously.

In Khorne's crimson domain, countless Skulls suddenly stopped fighting and all turned in the same direction. Khorne's own colossal head lifted slightly, a bloodthirsty glint in his eyes: "More interesting opponents are appearing!"

In Slaanesh's Palace of Pleasure, countless Souls immersed in ecstasy suddenly let out painful screams. "A boring fellow has appeared."

In the depths of Tzeentch's Labyrinth of Knowledge, countless pages automatically turned, recording this anomaly. Tzeentch's eyes rotated. "Everything is going according to plan."

In Nurgle's Garden of Corruption, countless Nurglings stopped their dance. Nurgle's bloated body slightly trembled: "Want to try the rich soup I just made?"

The gazes of the Four Chaos Gods penetrated the mist of the Immaterium, all focusing on the same figure.

In the depths of the Immaterium, the Emperor's powerful Psychic Fluctuation was like a bomb, instantly alerting all Chaos entities.

The Traitor Primarchs who had betrayed him now all felt that familiar yet strange Power—their father had returned, and he was stronger than ever.

Fulgrim was enjoying endless sensory stimulation in Slaanesh's Palace of Pleasure when the Psychic Fluctuation hit, and he snapped his eyes open.

"Father? No, this is impossible..." He stood up, a rare look of astonishment on his perfect face.

"How could he have left the Golden Throne?"

Perturabo, the Traitor Primarch of the Iron Warriors Legion, was directing an assault. The sudden Psychic Fluctuation made his body tremble violently.

"This Power... Has he given up on Mankind?"

Angron, the World Eater, roared on the bloody battlefield, his Battle Axe dripping with blood. When the Emperor's Psychic Fluctuation arrived, he stopped the slaughter, his face a mixture of rage and confusion.

He slammed his Battle Axe into the ground, and the entire Immaterium domain shook.

Mortarion was slowly pacing through Nurgle's Garden, his body's Disease and decay blending with the environment. The Emperor's Power Fluctuation made him stop, his swollen body subtly trembling.

A cluster of Lesser Daemons murmured in confusion at his feet.

Magnus was immersed in Tzeentch's Sea of Knowledge, absorbing forbidden Wisdom. When the Psychic Fluctuation arrived, he froze.

The pages floating around him flipped madly, attempting to record this anomaly.

Lorgar, the Word Bearer, awoke from a long meditation. The Emperor's Psychic Energy caused a complex expression to flash in his eyes.

Lorgar then picked up his Staff and began preparing a complex Prophecy Ritual.

In the long war between the Imperium of Man and Chaos, the situation was subtly changing.

All the Chess Pieces were repositioning, and Ian's arrival had disrupted everyone's plans.

What these Demigods didn't know was that they were about to face not just the returned Emperor, but an invincible Block Man.

Bigger fun is coming, anticipation glittered in Ian's eyes.
