The boyfriend and girlfriend duo walked into a karaoke which the girlfriend wanted to go first. She was so excited but the man looked bored. Why a karaoke of all places? Still, he followed her in. Once they got into one of the rooms, Arianna chose a song while Ryan sat on the couch. Seating, uninterested.
She picked the mic and began to sing, going with the instrumental. When the melody of her voice rang in his ears, he lifted his eyes. Her voice was smooth and beautiful, causing his world to stop.

She can sing!!! Whoa! Is she singing for him? Wow...her voice is so sweet. But he didn't look awed, though he was. He was lost, dumbstruck. He had heard this song before but...it sounds so much better now. Like she was the one who sang it. His heart thudded, and he caught his lower lip between his teeth. Gazing deep at her like she would disappear if he moved his eyes.

Whoa!! This song is definitely for him. He could kiss right now. Again...he's tempted.
Once the song was over she came to sit beside him, with her sweet smiles again. "How was I?" She asked him, and he blinked, coming out of his trance.
"Charming" was his simple answer, and she smiled more. Blushed even. Damn!!
"Thank you" she said, and Ryan gulped down the lump in his throat. Biting his lips even. "You should sing too" she told him. And immediately a solid "No" came out of his mouth.
"Please, Ryan. Please..."
"No" he turned his face to the other side. Not wanting to see those puppy eyes again.
She puffed her cheeks "Remember our deal?" she started and Ryan looked at her "You agreed to do whatever I asked, at whatever time I want. Sing for me, Ryan. It's my birthday" she said with pursed lips.
Seriously! Those eyes again. And that lips. Fine, he'll just do it for her. Ryan sighed and stood up and she squealed in excitement. Waiting to hear his voice. Maybe he never sang before. He might not be good, but still she'll like it.
He picked the mic and sat back on the couch with a long exhale. And then he opened his mouth.

Arianna blinked repeatedly. Is that Ryan's voice? Jeez! His voice is too good for a man. How can a man sing so well?

She stared, awestruck. Her cheeks burned hearing his cello like voice. So smooth, and heart-racing. Deep and manly. She would like to hear him sing for her every night. His voice is good for singing lullabies. Jeez, her boyfriend is so amazing.
Ryan finished the song and put down the mic. He heaved a long sigh. When was the last time he sang? Centuries ago. And he never sang like this, in such emotion. His lyrics were always so lonely, painful and sad. But now it's different.
He turned his head to look at Arianna. She was just staring in awe, lost in her own world. Her mouth was slightly open, and her heart thumped.
"What?" he asked her.
"Nothing" she immediately answered.
Ryan smiled "Say that I'm better than you"
"You're not" she retorted, and immediately looked away.
"Really? Then why is your heart fluttering so fast?" he began to tease her.
"I-it's not..."
"I can hear it. It shows I set your heart on fire... that's why your face burns. Isn't that so?"
"No. W-we should go" she stood up but he pulled her down onto his lap. His face and inch away from hers, his one hand on her bare thigh, while the other wrapped around her waist.
"Tell me" he spoke in a sexy tone. "Am I better than you?"
She shook her head "No" her voice was a whisper.
He leaned forward "Really? I spent energy singing for you. So since I'm not good enough I want it back"
"What..."
"My energy" he told her.
"How...?" she asked, and he cupped her face in his hands, bringing hers closer. Her lashes fluttered, and then his lips brushed gently on hers before he kissed her softly. She thought it would last, but it didn't. It was just a simple kiss, and then he pulled away. Licking his lips. He was tempted. He knew what he wanted. But he can't get it now. So he gently lifted her up and made her stand. Arianna's eyes were lowered, as he gently brushed her hair.
"Where do you want to go now?" he asked and she quickly lifted her eyes.
"Let's go to the park. And then the beach" she said . "Oh...and i want to fly too"
"Fly?" his brows creased.
"Yes. You can fly, right?"
"No, What makes you think that I can fly?" he asked., surprised.
"But...you're supposed to have wings. Demon's have wings right?"
"Not all. And I don't have wings"
"But you're a demon prince"
Ryan sighed. Why she easily talking about this? "Yes, I was a demon prince , but I'm half human, Aria" he told her
"Oh..."
"Come, let's go" he took her hand and dragged her out. Knowing she still wanted to continue talking about his demon.
