Zayden and Jana were at the movies, watching a very interesting show. Well, only Jana watched the movie because all Zayden did was watch her. His chin was rented on his knuckles, his gaze deep and intense, that it sent her heart on a marathon. She couldn't even look at him, because that alone would cause her face to flush and burn. If it hasn't started already. She could only stuff her mouth with the popcorn and had her eyes glued on the screen. Finding her voice, she said "Why are you staring at me?"
"You're a better show to watch" he replied immediately as if he had been waiting for her to speak, and she bit her lips.
"We didn't come here for you to watch me. It's making me..."
"Blush?" he took the words out of her mouth, and she took a quick glance at him. She blinked a few times, feeling her face burn more. His gaze was just so hot on her "Maybe" she answered and a gorgeous chuckle left his lips, causing her to bite her lips again. His every action causing her body to tingle.
Zayden finally faced forward, getting enough of her reddened face. His eyes caught a person's back, and he turned to him. Or should he saw to Jana. He looked at Jana, but she wasn't looking at this man whose eyes just turned red. It made Zayden's brows creased. Was he being followed? Or he's just here for something else? After a few moments, Jana's phone beeped and she checked the message.
'I see you, lady Jana. You may be happy, but it won't last for long' her eyes grew wide as she read the message. Her heart too shuddered and she bit on her lips that threatened to tremble, she scanned the crowd. Zayden observed her every reaction. Something's wrong. And when Jana's eyes caught the demon, she gulped.
"Z-zayden, can we... leave, please?" she asked without even looking at him.
"Why? The show's not over yet"
"There's no need to watch to the end" she stood up, leaving already. Zayden stood up and quickly followed her. Once they got out of the hall, her phone beeped again. Jana's hands trembled as she opened the message.
'You can run, but you can't hide. Accept your fate and do as we say. Or else..." she read and Zayden too read from her mind. He saw how her lips trembled as she stared into empty space. What do they want from her?
"Is something wrong?" he asked, hoping she would tell him or give a clue, but she shook her head.
"Let's go away from here" she didn't know when she grabbed his arm and pulled him away with her, and Zayden just followed without prying further.

Jia walked Anna to a secluded spot, having it in mind to get the truth from her. She cleared her throat, seemingly thinking of how to squeeze the words out her without much stress.
"You know Anna, you really haven't told me what's going on between you and Mr Han. That's why I brought you here to get the gist of it" she said, brushing her shoulder against Anna's to make her talk. Anna smiled like a high school kid, a blush growing on her cheeks. With hands on her already burning cheeks, she uttered "He likes me"
Jia blinked a few times, wondering if she just heard right, or her ears were messing with her. "What?!"
"And I like him too" she said, ignoring the question thrown at her.
Jia chuckled like she just heard the most interesting news "You've only been in his house for a month and two weeks, Anna. And you like him already?'
She nodded "Yes, we like each other" her eyes gleamed with joy as she drooled at his image in her head.
"The last time I checked, you were who said he doesn't like women, that he was 'gay'. So what happened?" she questioned.
"He's not gay. And it turns out that I'm the only one he ever had that feeling of love for" she cupped her cheeks, smiling so silly and childish. "Aren't I so special?"
Jia pinched her cheeks lightly, "You're very special" Arianna's eyes had long turned crescents, and her cheeks burned even more thinking about the intimate moments they shared together.
"By the way, you really haven't told me his full name yet, you know that"
"Han Ryan" she blurted, still in her own bliss.
"I see..." Jia nodded, she just got the answer she wanted and even until now Arianna didn't realise she had just spilled the beans. She just kept her eyes on the sky as she moved her body from left to right. "Oh... Shin woo invited me for the party tomorrow. Are you aware of that?" she asked.
"Yes. It wasn't really easy letting Mr Han agree to it. He really doesn't like parties at all" she replied.
"So you're coming, aren't you? Hayden might be around"
"Of course, yes. It's because I wanted to see Hayden that's why I decided to come" it was the only chance she had. She really misses Hayden so much and she wondered why he doesn't call her at all. But tomorrow, he might be there and she really would hug him tight when she sees him.
Ju Kyeong found them after searching, and she interrupted their conversation. "Uhm... Anna's bodyguard says they should leave" she said
"Leave? Right now?" Anna was shocked. The sun is still shining brightly in the sky, so why leave? Ju Kyeong just nodded and walked away. So without a choice, they both left and went outside, Ryan was already standing by the car.
"Why do I have to leave now?" She questioned with a frown "I've not seen auntie yet."
Ryan's eyes caught Jia behind, so he said, "It's almost your curfew"
"What?!" they exclaimed and Jia immediately came forward.
"Is Anna a prisoner?"
"She's not" his tone flat and indifferent.
"Then why does she have to leave now?" she questioned again, standing akimbo, and he smiled somewhat lazily deathly.
"She has to be home before dusk. He's really protective of her, you see?" he spoke.
Anna stared at him with utter disbelief. Her mouth could only open and close. And she frowned "I... I don't want to leave now. I want to see aunt So-hyeon first" she retorted.
Ryan took a step towards her, and leaned down to her ear "Don't make me change my mind about you going to that party, sweetheart" he whispered, and leaned back with a slight smirk. She pulled a sad face and pursed her lips, knowing that she can't argue anymore.
"Fine!" she walked to the car, after saying goodbye to Jia and then slammed the door. Ryan was about to enter the car, but Jia stopped him. He looked at her with questioning eyes.
"Take care of her, okay?" she said and his brows furrowed "...and do not make her cry" he couldn't even say anything, but wondered if the beans had been spilled. "And also... Thank you" she said
"For what?" he couldn't help but ask this time. But Jia shrugged her shoulders and walked back into the restaurant, leaving him confused. With a deep sigh, he climbed into the car and drove away immediately.
