Due to an event in the past that left a deep impression on Kevin, he had never dreamed since.
So, Kevin's entry into the dream was not smooth. Since using forceful methods wasn't ideal, Elysia eventually used her Dream Butterfly to help him enter...
Elf Kevin was currently standing somewhat helplessly to the side. Not long ago, Elysia, for some unknown reason, insisted on placing him next to Mei.
She even smiled and said, "This way, you'll look like a family!"
Mei, however, seemed to like him very much, with a gentle smile in her eyes. It was probably a case of loving the house and its crow.
Kevin still maintained his calm demeanor; his attitude towards Elfa Kevin was no different than before.
Neither particularly close nor distant.
It was precisely for this reason that when Kevin inquired about the suspicious-looking chicken-winged boy in the distance, Little Kevin merely watched silently.
He knew in his heart that if a fight were to break out, it likely wouldn't be his turn to act... Sunday looked at Kevin's eyes, finally sighed softly, and said:
"Indeed, most people active in the live stream are not simple. This disguise can't fool you at all."
Since the disguise was useless, he no longer concealed himself and frankly revealed his identity:
"I am Sunday; you should have seen my comments in the live stream."
Hearing this name, Mei looked at Sunday and asked:
"Sunday, you are Robin's brother, aren't you? I remember you once used the power of 'Order' to plunge this place into the 'Order's Dream,' right?"
Sunday was somewhat surprised, raising an eyebrow and saying:
"Oh, I didn't expect you two to have such detailed information. It seems the Astral Express people are very willing to share these past events. This is good; it saves me from having to explain further."
Kevin still pressed on with his previous question, his tone showing no softening: "So, what is your purpose?"
Sunday bowed slightly, explaining sincerely:
"My original intention was not to follow you all; it was truly just a coincidence that we were on the same path."
He wasn't lying. His main purpose for coming this time was to resolve some lingering issues left by the power of 'Order,' to prevent any further trouble in the future.
He paused, then continued: "As for my purpose, to be honest, with my current status as a fugitive, I probably wouldn't gain your trust even if I told you, so I won't waste my breath."
Mei calmly spoke:
"Strictly speaking, we are not people of this world, nor do we have the responsibility to be accountable for it. What you do here actually has nothing to do with us."
Sunday nodded. Since they said so, he also breathed a sigh of relief and tentatively asked:
"In that case, may I leave?"
Kevin said nothing, merely turned slightly, indicating that he was clearing the way.
Mei also remained silent, not stopping him.
Little Kevin also said nothing, just blinked, looking at Sunday.
Sunday understood this as an implicit agreement. He nodded slightly again:
"Well then, I'll take my leave. I wish you three a pleasant time in the dream."
Actually, Sunday still had a thought in his mind: he wanted to jokingly say, "The three of you standing together really look like a family of three."
However, such words should not come from his mouth.
Kevin, Mei, and elf Kevin silently watched Sunday turn and leave.
There was no opposing stance between them and Sunday, nor any exchange of interests. What he chose to do indeed had little to do with them.
The three continued walking forward.
As they walked, Mei suddenly asked:
"Kevin, don't you think the final execution of the Stigmata Project bears some resemblance to what happened here?"
Kevin nodded, "Hmm... but neither ultimately succeeded."
Mei heard this and sighed with emotion,
"Indeed... humans can draw strength from dreams and find their way forward, but they should never become lost in them."
She paused, then asked again:
"Kevin, if you were a judge, how would you evaluate this Sunday?"
Kevin was silent for a few seconds, as if deep in thought, then slowly said:
"He's like a sunbird looking down on all living things, his ideas too idealistic, always wanting to build a perfect world in his own way."
"Until his wings were broken, he had no choice but to return to the earth and begin searching for something called freedom..."
At this point, Kevin himself was startled, thinking to himself:
Strange, weren't they supposed to be on vacation? Why was he starting to think about these things again?
The two stopped talking and continued their stroll through the dream.
Elf Kevin, holding the small Shamash in his arms, silently followed behind them, feeling as if he had been completely ignored... Well, it was actually quite normal.
His system contained few recorded remarks, and he usually didn't talk much, so it was expected that he would be overlooked.
Suddenly, elf Kevin remembered Elysia had said earlier that she would add some "cute words" to his system to make him speak more...
Just thinking about that scene made him shiver.
Σ(°ロ°) Just thinking about it is terrifying!
