Chapter 295 - It Seems They've Provoked A Terrifying Monster!

"Looks like you're very confident!"

Ian looked up at the weak but delighted CP9 members. "I wonder how things are going at Enies Lobby?"

Upon hearing this, the CP9 members' faces turned ashen. They were just thinking that with Admiral Kizaru guarding the area, there wouldn't be any problems.

"Oh, right, I forgot to tell you, the Whitebeard Pirates already know about this."

Ian added casually, "I wonder if the Whitebeard Pirates can make it in time?"

The CP9 members: "...?!"

Hearing this, the CP9 members couldn't hold back any longer, but before they could speak...

"I'll give you a chance. Go! Go tell the opposing fleet what happened at Enies Lobby."

Under the shocked gazes of the crowd, Ian cut the ropes binding them with a mocking smile on his face. "Let's see if the World Government will choose me, or the blood of Rocks?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the CP9 members stared in disbelief at Ian…

If World Government and Marine Headquarters choose the blood of Rocks at this moment, the news that the boss of the Umbrella Corporation scared off the Buster Call fleet would spread across the sea, making the World Government and Marine Headquarters truly become a laughingstock.

But Lucci didn't say much, only giving Ian a deep look before turning to his still somewhat bewildered companions and saying: "Retreat!"

With that, the CP9 members didn't hesitate.

Although they had already guessed the Umbrella Corporation's purpose, having survived the ordeal, they didn't linger.

They turned and used Moonwalk to charge towards the Buster Call fleet.

This made Zephyr, who was standing nearby, finally unable to hold back any longer. He sighed and said, "That's a good idea, but to actually let these guys go… Oh well, it's good enough if we don't have to fight the Buster Call fleet!"

"Who said I was going to let them go?"

Before Zephyr could react to Ian's words…

"Not just these guys."

Ian picked up his axe and, while Zephyr was still stunned, threw it into the air. "I don't intend to let those fleets go either." "

As Ian finished speaking, just as everyone was puzzled, a terrifying aura erupted from Ian's body.

"Conqueror's Haki!"

And that wasn't all; the axe thrown into the air suddenly burst forth with a dazzling light.

At this moment, the CP9 members running towards the Marines' warship also showed anxiety on their faces.

"Lucci!"

Kaku couldn't hold back any longer: "Are we really going to do what that guy says?"

Upon hearing this, all the CP9 members looked at Lucci, who remained silent for a moment before speaking: "Tell the Buster Call fleet that they should divide the fleet into two and head to Enies Lobby. We'll go with them."

He added with a cold sneer: "That guy thinks the Rocks' blood is the only problem for the World Government, but he doesn't know… they're a problem too."

The CP9 members: "...?!"

Upon hearing this, the CP9 members' faces lit up with excitement upon understanding Lucci's meaning.

They'd won! Although a slight mishap had occurred, it seemed they had won this time.

But then…

"Why is it getting brighter?"

Kaku said with a smile, "Could it be that the sun has come out?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the CP9 members also noticed the sudden brightness around them.

It was clearly night, but now it was like daytime.

Just as everyone was puzzled, Lucci seemed to have guessed something; his expression changed, and he abruptly stopped, then looked behind him.

When he saw the blazing sun suddenly appearing in the sky, he could no longer contain himself… He shouted to his companions: "Run faster and get out of here!"

However, it seemed the same scene was repeating itself… It was too late for them to escape.

A terrifying attack, carrying the scorching light of the sun, shot down from above, striking them all directly.

In the instant of contact, while the CP9 members stared at Lucci in bewilderment, their bodies were instantly incinerated.

Confusion filled everyone's faces.

Why?

Lucci noticed his own body too. He felt no pain, yet he saw that his lower body… From the waist down, it was completely burned to ashes, with nothing left.

And that wasn't all. Lucci looked up in confusion at the Buster Call fleet so close at hand.

Countless rays of light rained down on the fleet, like divine punishment from the god.

At this moment, his heart calmed down, and only one thought remained in his mind.

They…

[It seems they've provoked a terrifying monster!]

Let's move the time forward slightly.

"Admiral Akainu, we've entered the waters of Water 7, and we've spotted what appears to be a ship from Umbrella Corporation ahead."

"I'm not blind!"

Hearing the marine's voice, Sakazuki immediately removed the cigar from his lips, his eyes fixed intently on the ship, which was still some distance away and anchored not far from the Water 7 port.

A cold smile appeared on his face.

"Looks like they're really lucky! Just left? I thought they'd gotten away."

"They shouldn't have just left."

Kuzan, who had also stood up and was wearing a marine justice cloak, frowned slightly while also looking at the Umbrella Corporation ship ahead. "According to information from CP9, the Umbrella Corporation ship was preparing to leave two hours ago. So much time has passed; there's no way it could still be there."

"Could it be that CP9's obstruction plan succeeded?"

That's impossible!

Although he had heard that a once-in-eight-hundred-years genius had emerged within CP9, he didn't believe that guy could stop Ian, Zephyr, and Kuma.

Even if it weren't just that one person, he estimated that the entire CP9 organization would be in trouble.

If CP9 truly possessed such combat power, they wouldn't still be in CP9.

Those from the CP9 had already been recruited by the World Government into the Holy Land of Mary Geoise.

A powerful figure capable of stopping Ian, the God of Sun, is a significant asset to the World Government.

So, if they failed to stop him, why haven't the Umbrella Corporation's ships left yet?

Kuzan frowned, pondered for a moment, then seemed to realize something, his tone filled with suspicion and disbelief: "Those guys wouldn't be… deliberately waiting for us, would they?"

"Waiting for us?"

This made Sakazuki, standing beside him, sneer. "How audacious! Do they think a few people can stop the Buster Call fleet?"

Moreover, for this plan, the World Government specifically dispatched 15 fleets and two admirals.

Stop? And it's still nighttime, what do they plan to do?
