Chapter 171 - Nothing Means Everything!

"When the time comes, you can supervis—"

But before Ian could finish, Robin, holding their child, directly handed the baby to Ain, who had walked over curiously while looking around. Then Robin wrapped her arms around Ian's neck, her brows soft with affection, eyes like spring water as she looked at him. "Dear, kiss me!"

Ian: "...?"

Ain: "...?"

But before Ian could respond, Robin, who could no longer restrain herself, kissed him directly, leaving Ain stunned in place.

She lowered her head and looked at the baby in her hands, who didn't even realize her parents had tossed her over and was waving her little hands while babbling.

Then she looked at the two in front of her, her cheeks slightly red, but she still held the child and quietly stepped away to watch in secret.

After a moment, Robin looked at Ian, her hands still around his neck. She smiled and shook her head. "No, this is already very good. Dear Ohara actually wasn't that great."

Sweeping a glance at the still-under-construction surroundings, she finally looked at Ian again.

"This is no longer Ohara. This is our home, dear."

Yes, this was the new home for her, Ian, and Aria.

As for Ohara, it belonged to the past.

Just as Robin gazed at Ian with tearful eyes and Ian smiled back at her, suddenly a head popped out beside them, staring at them curiously while grinning. "Mr. Ian, what are you two doing?"

Robin: "..."

Ian: "..."

Seeing Ace's curious face, the two fell silent and calmly pulled apart, acting as though nothing had happened.

Ian pushed away Ace's annoying face and said irritably, "This is adult business. Kids shouldn't pry."

"Kid? I'm not a kid anymore!"

Ace, pushed away, scratched his head with a grin. He didn't mind what happened earlier and instead glanced around with curiosity while saying, "So this is our new base? But it looks like there's nothing here."

"Nothing means everything!"

Ian said casually. "Whatever we need, we can build it!"

"Ah, is that so? That's amazing."

Hearing Ian's words, Ace jumped happily like a child. "Then, can we build a training hall? I want to train inside it!"

"Build!"

In his good mood, Ian didn't mind at all and waved his hand boldly. "We would build a big one!"

"That's awesome, Mr. Ian! You're so generous!"

The scene made the eyes of the others nearby light up, and they quickly crowded over.

"Can we build a hospital?"

"We can!"

"Mr. Ian, if possible, can we build a church?"

"No problem!"

"Uncle Ian! I—I—I want a house made of sweets!"

"That's a bit difficult, but still possible!"

"Boss, I want a big house, a big manor, and then marry a wife!"

"The house and manor are fine, but the wife, you have to find it yourself."

"Hey, I—"

"What, you want me to build you a temple for the God of Thunder?"

"Who would want something like that!"

Enel complained with a dark expression, then looked expectantly at Ian.

"I want to build the Ark Maxim!"

"Get lost!"

"You!! Why can't I?!"

"Why can't you? You really don't know?"

Ian said irritably. "Ark Maxim? I don't have that much gold for your ship!"

"Gold… Those were my gold!"

"Hahahaha!"

As Enel shouted, everyone burst into happy laughter at his expense.

Even Ain, holding Aria, couldn't help but laugh as her worries eased greatly at the sight of the lively scene, though she did not go up to join them.

Then, a voice sounded beside her. "Why don't you go over? Don't you have anything you want?"

Ain: "...?!"

Ain, holding Aria, was startled, but quickly composed herself. She looked at Robin beside her, then back at Ian, and the corners of her lips raised into a slight smile. "I'll... I'll wait until Zephyr-sensei returns!"

"You're worried about Instructor Zephyr?"

Hearing her words, Robin didn't push further and simply smiled as she looked ahead. "Don't worry. If there's ever danger, Ian will absolutely go find Instructor Zephyr immediately."

Ain: "..."

Hearing this, Ain fell silent. But only for a moment, she then smiled and nodded. "I know. I... I also believe Ian will definitely do that."

After acting as a wish-granting god for a while, everyone began curiously touring the new base.

Of course, there wasn't much to see on the island. The places that needed construction weren't finished yet, and as for Ohara's once-famous attractions... They had all been destroyed in that disaster back then.

Time passed, and with no one managing the place, it had either become dilapidated and desolate, or overgrown with flowers and trees, turning into patches of forest.

But perhaps because they had just arrived, everyone's spirits were quite high. So even though there wasn't much to look at, they still happily took a simple tour of the island.

And with Robin there, although the years had almost erased everything Ohara once had, some traces still remained beneath the veil of time.

Whenever they came across something interesting, Robin would even act as a tour guide and tell everyone about Ohara's scenery from back then.

The beauty of the archaeological Holy Land was lost to the passage of time.

With Robin's words, everyone felt as if they had truly arrived at the archaeological Holy Land of the past, experiencing the wisdom and beauty of this place, especially Kuma... For some reason, he listened with great seriousness.

Soon, the sky dimmed, and it was time to rest. Although most areas were still unfinished, there were at least places to sleep.

Everyone arrived at the rest area, but they didn't go to sleep right away.

Excited, they declared that they would hold the very first banquet at the new base.

Although Ian planned to rest early, seeing everyone in such high spirits, he didn't spoil the mood and agreed.

However, because everything was so rushed, the preparations were insufficient.

So the banquet was rather simple, but everyone still happily enjoyed the first celebration at their new base.

Only late at night, after most people were drunk, did Ian secretly go back to rest.

As for Robin, she had already taken the child to sleep halfway through the banquet.

But just as Ian was walking toward his room, he seemed to notice something. Seeing a figure quietly gazing at the moonlight in the courtyard, he hesitated for a moment, then still walked over.

Their resting place was a six-story building. He originally asked Gini to build a simple house for future office use, but Gini unexpectedly built a six-story building and even hired a master architect to design it.

Of course, that was fine; it was comfortable to live in.
