Chapter 167 - Arrest

And Wolf, upon seeing Law, finally made a decision; he no longer hesitated and prepared to follow Ian.

After all, Vegapunk's technology was still quite tempting to him as a scientist!

What were his previous worries?

What's there to worry about now? With Law's actions, whether he's there or not, it's not a big deal.

Meanwhile, Ian was also packing up.

"Sorry, dear, because of me, we…"

"Don't talk, kiss me!"

Robin, who had been a little sad, was silenced by Ian's words. Seeing Ian in front of her, some of her worry and guilt dissipated.

She rolled her eyes at Ian briefly, then gently kissed him.

After a moment, the two separated at the sound of the baby crying. Robin picked up Aria and began to feed her, and Ian, still wanting more, continued packing.

No, better said, things were mostly packed, and now he needed to check for anything left behind.

Ian scanned what was before him. "Is there anything else we need to take?"

Actually, it didn't look like there was much. Most things didn't matter whether they were taken or not; they could buy new ones later; they weren't short on money.

"No."

Robin blinked and said playfully, "Just don't forget to take me and the baby."

"Of course. Then it's time to leave."

Hearing Robin say that really made Ian a bit reluctant to go. He turned and looked at the shabby wooden house behind him.

Although run-down, this was his first home in this world. It had been built together under the leadership of Village Chief Martin and other villagers.

He returned here after leaving the Marines and had kept it until retirement, then came back again.

He got married here and had a child here.

To be honest, since the system had never arrived, he had really intended to live quietly here for the rest of his life, but he hadn't expected so many things to happen afterward.

Gently patting his bed and looking at Robin holding the child beside him, Ian's feelings eased, and a smile appeared on his face.

He took a deep breath and said stoutly: "Let's go!"

With that, he pushed the door open and saw the others waiting outside the door.

Ian's eyes swept across them: Ain, Kuma, Bonney, Ace, Enel, Law and his subordinates, Wolf, and Gini and his subordinates.

They exchanged glances, and smiles appeared on their faces.

"Ian (Mr. Ian, boss), are you ready?"

"Yes, we're setting sail now!"

At Ian's shout, everyone cheered.

Gini, who had a keen eye, immediately yelled to his subordinates: "What are you standing around for? Help the boss with the luggage! Be careful, if you drop it, don't blame me for beating you up!"

After that, everyone lifted their luggage and headed toward the dock.

There was one more thing.

Ian turned to Village Chief Martin, who had something to say but hesitated, and smiled: "Village Chief Martin, thank you for taking care of us during this time."

"You... Really, can't stay? And even if you're leaving, no one's come to send you off. Let's at least hold a banquet!"

"... Staying would only bring trouble to the Sibia River Archipelago."

Hearing the word, banquet, Ian was speechless for a moment, then shook his head and said, "No need for a banquet, and don't tell the others. Also, the brewery, don't open it anymore. You can secretly sell a little wine, but don't use the old advertisements anymore."

After saying that, Ian fell silent while looking apologetic toward Village Chief Martin. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine, it's fine. Secretly selling a little wine is fine."

Village Chief Martin waved it off cheerfully. "Although it's a pity, this is good, life has gotten better, and the island has more people now. I believe the merchant ships will be willing to stop by in the future. If those guys have any grievances…"

He raised his fist and said, "I'll beat them up!"

"Remember what we said before, if anyone asks, say we're not close."

Seeing Village Chief Martin understood the gravity of things, Ian said no more.

After reminding him once more, he looked at everyone, didn't hesitate to wave his hand, and said, "Depart!"

At his words, they carried their things and followed Ian toward the dock.

The dock was already prepared: several three-masted ships were moored, waiting for them.

These ships were prepared in advance by Gini.

And not only ships, a Marine warship was moored beside them at that moment.

"You finally got ready, kid?"

Enchi, who had grown impatient waiting, glared at Ian and said gruffly: "I almost gave the order to capture you."

"Didn't you say your fleet hadn't arrived yet? And is it really okay for you to be so close to me right now?"

"Mind your own business!"

"The Marine Headquarters seems to have high expectations of you, actually sending you to arrest me."

"Hey, hey, hey, kid, what do you mean by that? Listen, I was your Captain back then, too!"

Hearing Ian say that, Enchi couldn't hold it in any longer, looking exasperated. "Get lost, or I'll really order your arrest."

"Thank you."

After Ian thanked him again, he took a deep breath and shouted to the people behind him: "Everyone, board the ship!"

At Ian's order, those behind him responded loudly and boarded the ship with their belongings.

After nodding to Enchi, Ian also boarded.

The moment Ian stepped onto the ship, the sails were raised, and they slowly left the Sibia River Archipelago port.

Only Enchi remained, smoking and watching the departing fleet with a face full of emotion.

"Captain Enchi."

A marine behind him hesitated and asked, "Shouldn't we order their arrest?"

Thud!

Enchi slapped the marine's head and glared at him. "What? Do I need to take orders from you on how to act?"

After saying that, he watched the disappearing ships and silently began to count numbers in his mind.

Nine… Seven… Five… Three.. Two… One…

Only after counting to one did Enchi pull his gaze back, take his Den Den Mushi from his pocket, and dial a call in a serious tone. "This is West Blue's 315th Branch. I'm Captain Enchi, the base commander of the 315th Branch. I have an important report."

"The heinous criminal, Nico Robin, the Devil Child, and her husband, Ian, have been driven off the Sibia River Archipelago by the 315th Branch."

"315th Branch has successfully liberated the villagers who were oppressed and harassed by the Devil Child, and destroyed the island's unscrupulous brewery. Should we continue to arrest Nico Robin, the Devil Child, and her husband, Ian?"

He took a deep breath. "Please give me an order."

Upon hearing Enchi's words, the person on the other end seemed a bit stunned.
