Chapter 67 - Act.9 - Part 2

[PoruShark Writer's Note: To those who knew her—yes—Saki Yoshi is indeed a reference to Saki Yoshida. I just didn't use the complete name since she was definitely a character Nach would want to save. Still, this antagonist perfectly fits her image.]

---

"Miku, Busujima-san… I knew it. You're both still alive."

"Yoshi-san."

Saeko's blunt response to Saki, addressing her by surname, made it clear that she wasn't particularly close to her.

"How are you still alive, Saki?"

Miku's shocked response, however, not only confirmed that they were close enough to call each other by their given names, but also confirmed that Saki was someone suspicious—just as Nach had instinctively felt.

"Ehh~ I don't know what you're talking about, Miku," Saki said, laughing at everyone's terrified expressions.

"Don't you dare lie to me, you bitch! I saw you get bitten right in front of me!"

Everyone distanced themselves from Saki upon hearing Miku's remark—especially the elderly security guard, Hogosha, who ran toward Tominaga to protect him, and the two other guards who moved behind Saki and drew their revolvers.

So they aren't exactly friends? Nach, meanwhile, was still concerned about Miku and Saki's actual relationship.

Miku's shock quickly shifted to rage, and even Saeko switched from her usual calm and composed demeanor to a murderous, malicious leer. But despite their combined intimidation, Saki didn't even flinch.

She just laughed like a drunkard intoxicated by alcohol.

"You mean this bite?!" Saki shouted gleefully as she tore off her blouse and lace bra with both hands, exposing her left breast, which indeed bore a gruesome bite that had torn away a mouthful of flesh—including her nipple.

The fact that her uniform was free of bloodstains meant she had changed clothes since she was bitten. Since the wound was hidden beneath her bra, even the female security guard had failed to notice it during her inspection. And seeing that Saki wasn't in pain despite such a grave wound—one that had already stopped bleeding—gave everyone the same assumption:

That Saki was infected and would soon become undead.

—"AAHHH!!!"—

Terrified screams echoed throughout the hotel lobby.

Everyone else—both hotel residents and other survivors—ran for their lives. Even Tominaga was escorted to safety by Hogosha. Some fled outside, while others rushed back to their assigned rooms. But since the elevators were still descending from the top floors, everyone was forced to take the stairs.

The only ones left in the lobby were the pair of male and female security guards, Yui—who was hiding behind Nach while holding the hunting crossbow—and Saeko and Miku, both ready to make their move and attack Saki.

Nach, however, had another thought.

What if Saki wasn't infected, but immune?

But before he could voice that thought, Saeko and Miku charged at the same time to attack Saki.

To Nach's surprise—and especially Saeko's—Miku was faster.

It wasn't even a contest. Miku completely left Saeko behind, covering half a dozen meters in the blink of an eye with a single quick stride.

Without hesitation visible in her enraged expression, Miku raised her sledgehammer, gripping it with both hands, and swung it down to attack Saki. Her strike left a large crater in the floor tiles, but it only meant she had hit nothing but the ground.

Miku raised her head, frantically looking around for Saki, only to be shocked again when she found her standing behind the two security guards, a few meters away from where she had been moments ago.

Miku had mysteriously become fast and strong—both even comparable to Nach and Saeko.

She was probably as strong as the overpowered high school girl undead, or so Nach thought.

However, Saki was faster, and even Nach and Saeko could barely follow her movements with their eyes.

While the three of them were bewildered and terrified by an opponent they weren't even sure they could defeat together, Saki grabbed the two security guards, strangling each of them with one hand at the back of their necks.

—"ARGH!!"—

"Why are you being mean to me, Miku? Aren't we friends?"

While Saki casually chatted with Miku, the two security guards had already dropped their revolvers and were screaming in agony, squirming on their knees as they desperately grabbed at Saki's hands in an attempt to free themselves from her crushing grip.

"Friends? Don't make me laugh," Miku sneered before continuing her mockery.

"You're not even worthy of becoming my dog. You're just a reusable onahole I used to get money from pathetic boys with sticks like your ex-boyfriend's."

Miku's mockery silenced Saki.

Nach, Saeko, and Yui expected Saki to go on a rampage after Miku insulted her and her ex-boyfriend—but Saki simply laughed it off.

"Right. Koji really did have a pencil for a rod."

Despite her cheerful display, Saki did something terrifying. She tightened her grip on the two security guards' necks until they snapped, killing both of them at the same time. Then she squeezed even harder until she tore their heads from their necks.

Blood splattered across the floor as the headless bodies of the security guards collapsed, their severed heads rolling away from where they once belonged.

And as if that horror weren't enough, Saki continued with her next threat.

While licking the blood from her right palm, she raised her blood-soaked left hand and pointed at Nach.

"He's surely your new boyfriend, right? His rod was probably massive, right? I can tell just from the strong scent of his cum on you—on all of you! HAHAHA!"

Saki laughed wildly for a while, but when she stopped, she said something that almost made Nach wet his pants.

"You wouldn't mind if I steal him from you, just like how you stole my ex-boyfriend—right, Miku?"

"You bitch—"

"Come on back!—Miku!"

Without a second thought, Miku followed Nach's command, stopping her rampage and leaping backward to return to his side. Saeko had already retreated there as well.

"You're no fun, boyfriend-san," Saki said, slipping her left hand under her already exposed breasts while her right hand supported her chin, as if thinking of a way to make the situation more entertaining.

The sudden widening of her intoxicated eyes, followed by the hungry smile curving across her bloodstained lips, told everyone she had an idea even before she spoke.

"One minute!" Saki said, placing her bloodstained index finger over her lips before continuing.

"I'll give the four of you one minute before we start the chase. And—go!"

The instant Saki gave the signal, Nach carried Yui over his shoulder and began running, urging Saeko and Miku to follow as he rushed up the stairs.

Nach could have run outside toward the parking lot, searched for Tominaga's car, and escaped. However, his gut told him that would be the wrong decision.

After all, Saki had said "we", not "I" would start the chase.

And just as Nach had predicted, Saki wasn't alone.

—"ROOAAARRRR!"—

Exactly one minute later, a loud, terrifying roar echoed—not from outside, but from the hotel lobby where Saki had been.

—CRASH!—

—"AAHHH!!!"—

A thunderous crash came from outside the hotel, followed by the dying screams of the survivors who had fled the lobby.

When Nach reached the fourth floor—still carrying Yui, with Saeko and Miku close behind—he confirmed his suspicion by looking through the large wall-to-wall window at the chaos unfolding on the hotel grounds:

Saki was the high school girl who had been controlling the aggressive undead on the day of their escape from Fujimi Academy.
