Bibi Dong took a quick look at Liu Erlong. She picked up a full bottle of wine and drank the whole thing without stopping. If this were the old Bibi Dong, she would have walked over and beaten Liu Erlong up to vent her anger. But the current Bibi Dong was no longer crazy. After Su Yan helped her, she went back to her original kind self. Because of this, she did not try to hurt Liu Erlong at all when she showed up.
Liu Erlong sat down right next to Bibi Dong. She felt many emotions in her heart and said, "Fate is really strange. I never thought we would sit together like this and drink."
Bibi Dong looked back at her and spoke in a deep, serious voice. "Yu Xiaogang ruined both of our lives, but you are still luckier than I am."
Liu Erlong thought about those words for a moment. She nodded her head and agreed. "You're right. You were the Holy Maiden of Spirit Hall. You stood high above everyone else and had a bright future. I am just an illegitimate daughter. If I didn't have some talent, nobody would care about me. Even that scumbag Yu Xiaogang wouldn't have bothered with me if I was weak."
The two women looked at each other with deep understanding. Neither of them said another word for a moment. They both grabbed another bottle of wine and drank together.
Liu Erlong stopped for a second, but her curiosity got the better of her. She asked, "Old Woman, what is really going on with Qian Renxue? Why isn't she living in Spirit Hall? Why is she staying in Heaven Dou City instead? I never heard anything about her before this."
Bibi Dong let out a long sigh. "I used to hate her because of what happened in the past. When she was nine years old, Spirit Hall made a secret plan against the Heaven Dou Empire. Qian Daoliu was worried I might hurt her, so he agreed to send her away. I hated her so much that I agreed to it too. So, at nine years old, she left Spirit City all by herself. She came to Heaven Dou Empire to act as a spy, and she has been doing it for many years."
Liu Erlong felt confused when she heard this. "Where is she acting as a spy?" she asked.
Bibi Dong looked straight at her, stayed quiet for a short moment, and then said, "You have already met her. She is Prince Xue Qinghe!"
"What? Who?" Liu Erlong jumped up from her seat immediately. She stared at Bibi Dong with complete shock written on her face. "Xue Qinghe? My goodness! I actually know him! Didn't I even go on a blind date with him back then? Holy crap! Old Woman, does that mean I almost had to call you my mother?"
Bibi Dong let out a small laugh. "If you want to call me that right now, I won't stop you."
Liu Erlong suddenly hit her own forehead with her hand. "I get it now! I was wondering why Su Yan wanted to give us a wedding gift back then. Could it be that he was already together with Qian Renxue at that time?"
Bibi Dong was shocked when she heard Liu Erlong say that. She thought to herself, doesn't that mean he was with her even before he was with me?
Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, inside the Crown Prince's Mansion, there was a secret underground room.
Su Yan followed Qian Renxue down into the Secret Chamber. He felt a little nervous inside his heart. He thought to himself, damn it, you look like a pure Little Angel, but you actually have a secret room like this? I really underestimated you. Out of all the things you could learn, you actually learned how to build a place like this.
After they walked inside, Qian Renxue lit up a small lamp. She looked at Su Yan with a calm face. "You are the very first guest who has ever entered this Secret Chamber. This place holds almost all of my memories. I have cried here, I have laughed here, and I practiced acting like someone else here. I kept pushing myself forward step by step until today."
Su Yan looked at her and felt his heart ache for what she had been through.
Qian Renxue suddenly picked up a small cloth doll from the room. She held it up and asked Su Yan, "Can you guess who this is?"
Su Yan felt curious and guessed, "Is it Bibi Dong?"
"Wrong!" Qian Renxue threw the doll hard onto the ground. "This one is Hu Liena. The one sitting over there is Bibi Dong."
Su Yan turned his head to look where she pointed. Near the bed, there were two cloth dolls, one big and one small. They looked quite similar to each other. It was easy to tell that the big one was Bibi Dong and the small one was Qian Renxue.
Qian Renxue's eyes started to turn red as she spoke again. "I was always so jealous of Hu Liena. I thought Bibi Dong didn't love me because I wasn't good enough. I really wanted her to love me and like me like a real mother."
Su Yan walked up to her, wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her gently into his chest. He tried to comfort her by saying, "It's okay now. Everything from the past is over. Now you finally have what you wanted most."
Qian Renxue rested in Su Yan's warm arms. She felt safe and comforted by his presence. She looked up and asked, "Do you think if you hadn't showed up, and if that Group Chat hadn't shared all those secrets, she would have hated me for the rest of her life?"
"No, she wouldn't," Su Yan answered softly as he gently petted her long hair. "Even when Bibi Dong was crazy, her heart was still complicated. If she really didn't care about you at all, she would never have taken Hu Liena as her disciple. She felt a lot of hate, but she still had a conscience left inside her. She just didn't know how to face you properly. She kept angry with you on purpose so you would stay away from her, making it easier for her to act like she didn't care."
Tears kept rolling down Qian Renxue's face as she listened to Su Yan's gentle words. "Then how are you going to treat us in the future?"
Su Yan smiled softly and replied, "I don't really know. I'm a greedy man. I don't want to let go of any of you. I will use all my power to protect you guys."
Qian Renxue looked up at him with deep love in her eyes. Su Yan looked right back into her eyes with the same feeling. "Forever," Su Yan said. "Until the very end of my life."
After saying those words, Su Yan bent down and kissed her lips. The Little Angel tried her best to kiss him back. She reached up with her hands and removed the golden hairpins from her hair. Her soft, long golden hair fell down over her shoulders naturally.
Su Yan took things step by step until he helped her call out her Martial Soul completely. The large, white Angel wings of her Angel Martial Soul appeared behind her back, making Su Yan's blood boil with excitement.
Just as Su Yan was getting ready to use his Spirit Ability to swallow her power, the Little Angel suddenly reached out her hand to cover his mouth.
She looked at him and asked, "Tell me the truth, which girlfriend am I to you?"
Su Yan was surprised by her sudden question. "Which... which number do you want to be?"
The Little Angel lowered her voice and said, "I want to be ahead of her. Don't tell me you already did this kind of thing with her when you came to the city last time?"
"No, I didn't," Su Yan said with a very serious face. "If we count the time, you are the second one. But inside my heart, you will always be the first. I like my tsundere Little Angel the most."
Qian Renxue felt very happy inside when she heard his words, but she still acted a bit stubborn. "You scumbag, you're just saying nice things to make me happy. If you were a bit stronger last time and stayed in Heaven Dou City for two more days, I definitely would have been the second one."
"You are the second one right now too," Su Yan said with a smile. After he finished speaking, he leaned in and bit right onto her large, white Angel wings.
