Axel had come to Fenrir's side.
While it might sound simple, the process was quite complicated, especially without Fenrir's ability to traverse space herself.
First, he "borrowed" a return scroll from the girls—Eve and the others—who had several in excess. It was conveniently located right outside their temporary base camp. Using that scroll, he crossed several hundred kilometers in an instant and covered the remaining distance of about a hundred kilometers on foot.
Thanks to the Gleipnir literally pointing the way, he didn't get lost.
However, upon his arrival, he was met with a distressing sight: a young man wielding the chains while Fenrir knelt on the ground, bleeding from various orifices.
This sight ignited Axel's fury.
As Fenrir had taught him, he was utilizing Overdrive continuously, but his output was capped at less than 0.01% of his actual mana. This was the typical output he maintained even during sparring sessions with Fenrir.
