The shaking got worse with each passing second. The sounds of panic grew louder outside the Knight's Station. People yelled, metal hit stone, and a building fell down with a loud crash in the distance.
Greg ran to the window with Tunner, his heart racing. The Calamity was closer now, close enough to see its scary details.
It had grown considerably since they last saw it. Its body was a writhing mass of weapons that were always moving and changing, and it was at least a hundred feet tall.
Swords made arms and legs that were far too long. Axes and spears made armor that covered its torso. And those eyes, which were like swirling whirlpools of purple, silver, and red, looked at the city with a hungry look.
"Everyone out!" Tunner's voice echoed through the station. "NOW!"
