"Okay…" Caspian trailed off, before he realized what his king said; his head snapped back to his king at once.
"Wait, what!"
"Don't make me repeat myself, Caspian. Have the date shifted to tomorrow and notify the elders."
"Your Majesty, I do hope you're not planning to inform them about you finding your mate?" Caspian asked his king, but when he saw the serious look on his face, He knew he did not need further confirmation.
"Your Majesty, I suggest you hold the news until you have a discussion with the high priest, Fei, before announcing it. You know the lengths these people could go, they might try to harm your mate." Caspian commented, worriedly.
"Enough! That's enough, I am more than capable to protect my mate." Eiravyn muttered but his gaze was still on the files on his table.
Hearing the dangerous edge in his voice, Caspian immediately kept his mouth shut not daring to upset his king further.
