When they returned to Miyabi's room, she apologized in a slightly subdued tone.

Wise was momentarily stunned by her words, but to Miyabi, his brief hesitation seemed like reluctance. She quickly backtracked.

As she spoke, her thoughts began to wander.
'But if not Hoshimi, then what surname should we use? Does Wise even have a surname?'

After they parted ways, Wise planned to return to the video store. However, while on his way, he received a message from Jane.

Seeing her reply, Wise wanted to explain that he had simply been asking where she was.

While it certainly looked beautiful, Wise couldn't help but notice something.

There were simply too many implications packed into that message. For a moment, Wise didn't even know how to respond, but fortunately, Jane had already anticipated that.

Immediately afterward, she shared her location.
Wise checked it and realized it was, coincidentally, not far from where he currently was.
But wasn't this area near the city center?
'Jane can afford a place here?!'
Though surprised, Wise headed there anyway. As soon as he arrived, before he could knock a second time, the door swung open.
Jane, who had clearly been waiting for him, immediately pulled him inside. The tail that had been wrapped around her black-stocking-clad thigh loosened before naturally coiling around Wise's waist.

"Hehe~ Alright~ I won't tease you anymore."
Jane chuckled softly as she gently rubbed away the troubled look on Wise's face.
"Since I didn't mind back then, I'm certainly not going to hold it against you now. My work keeps me away from you for long periods, so I'll reluctantly let the other girls take care of you. But..."
Jane leaned in and gave Wise's neck another light bite. It wasn't hard enough to hurt, but it still left a faint reddish mark.
"At least for this little while, you can only have my scent on you~"
She whispered the words beside Wise's ear, her warm breath lightly brushing against it.
