Julie's voice came out as a whisper, like it had lost all its strength. Her face also drained of color as Alina spoke.
"B—but you said you wouldn't send me—"
"Do it."
Alina didn't raise her voice, but she was getting irritated.
How many times did Alina have to interrupt these people?
Julie swallowed and obeyed. With her trembling hand, she took out her phone.
Her thumb moved up and down over the screen while her eyes flickered up in Alina's direction.
Alina sighed.
She didn't know which one she was supposed to call. But she couldn't ask at the same time.
"Is it so hard to find Arabella?"
She was at her limit now. But fortunately, the girl shook her head quickly and brought the phone to her ear, breathing too loudly.
They didn't get along, it appeared.
As the call connected, the girl flinched. Her back straightened involuntarily.
