POV Rei Miyamoto
Rei felt incredible, as if she had shed an unbelievable number of chains that were dragging her down, be it physically or mentally.
Right now, she was in the restroom, standing in front of the mirror in just her panties and bra, looking at her own body which had become incredibly perfect.
The most noticeable changes were her eyes, breasts, and butt with her thighs.
The sclera of her eyes had turned black, like octopus ink, just like her pupils, but her irises were white... Rei knew she should have been afraid of this, that anyone else in her place would be hysterical, but... she felt wonderful.
She felt incredibly good, and even if these changes were enough to scare others, she didn't care because they were weak, because the one dear to her wasn't afraid of her.
Isao didn't even flinch like Takashi or Hisashi did when they saw her new eyes; he just looked at her with warmth, because now he could be sure she would be safe, and she was happy about that.
Oh, how blind she had been all this time; the information about what she had become after Isao awakened her powers flowed into her head, and she understood a lot.
The Kure Clan information opened her eyes, showing her what the real world was like and what one needed to be, and no, she hadn't gone crazy; she was still Rei Miyamoto... just stronger, better, and consequently more useful.
Rei realized that all this time she had behaved like a little girl who didn't know what to do, where to go, or how to choose.
When all this chaos began, she remembered trembling, remembered the moment she tripped on the roof and how the zombies were already reaching for her, and she would have died if it weren't for Isao, who killed them all with a single blow.
And she didn't even thank him for doing it, because she knew it was him, Isao-san, who would save her.
He was always there, every time she needed someone to comfort, cheer, and support her, Isao was always present, and the only time he wasn't was the situation with Shidou.
When he changed her grades, pulling his machination, her first thought was to go and tell Isao everything, so he would come and beat the living hell out of Shidou, but he wasn't in town; asking Takashi where he was, she learned that he had gone out of town with his family for a vacation, for several weeks.
She wanted to call him and tell him about it, about what Shidou did, but she didn't want to spoil his time with his family; that would have been incredibly selfish of her.
So she just kept silent, thinking that at least this time Takashi would notice that she was feeling down, but that fool didn't care again! Just like dozens of times before! And then Hisashi appeared, so kind and sweet, but... incredibly cowardly; he feared Isao as if he were the devil, and in any other situation, if Isao had been in town, he wouldn't have even approached her romantically; she saw it clearly now.
It didn't catch her eye back then; she was just blinded by her stupidity, and tired of Takashi's shortsightedness, she allowed him to comfort her; there were no kisses or anything more; he just listened to her complaints and said "yes, that's bad, uh-huh" at the right moments, that's all!
Was it that damn hard for Takashi to do the same thing? Honestly, this whole "dating Hisashi" thing was just a plan to finally make him move, to see if he would do something or not; as it turned out... no, not even that made Takashi move, and then she wondered, he's not a fan of cuckolds, is he?
The thought made her sick, damn it...
Overall, it was a test for both Takashi and Hisashi; after a month, if he couldn't more openly show his feelings for her near Hisashi, she would have dumped him too; why would she need a boyfriend who would be afraid of someone who was essentially like a distant relative? Yes, she and Isao weren't related by blood, but he was like an older brother to her.
He was always there, for as long as she could remember, and only now did she realize how dear he was to her, but damn it, she was already too late...
She remembered what she saw just a few minutes ago, how Saeko, that cow, was hugging her man as if he were hers; it made her blood boil; she wanted to rush over and fight her, but that wasn't what Isao would want to happen.
And most likely, she would have to accept that she would share her man with other girls, or even women much older than herself.
Shizuka didn't hide her interest in him, even if she showed it in her own peculiar way, just like Kyoko Hayashi, who looked at him like a fanatic at her god; then there was Saki Yoshida, another, much more unfortunate, victim of Shidou, who looked at Isao as the one who saved her, which he did by killing Shidou; then there was Yuki Miku, who looked at Isao as if he were the father of her future children, although that role was certainly taken by Saeko, which they both knew, those two black-haired girls whose father Isao saved... damn it, there's a whole bouquet of different girls here!
And she was, at most, in third place; first was Saeko, and then Saya, who clung to him like a small animal, speaking of clinging...
She remembered how she jumped onto him to hug him and thank him for going to get her mother together, and remembered how his heavy and strong hands grabbed her hips, and just the memory was enough to excite her.
She quietly moaned, feeling her womanhood heating up, and sat down on the toilet lid, trying to restrain herself from touching herself down there.
And biting her lower lip slightly, she looked up at the ceiling; her new eyes were incredible, allowing her to easily see some cracks in the ceiling, on which she concentrated, trying not to pay attention to the fact that her womanhood was gushing like a waterfall.
She sat like that for several minutes, her thoughts pulling her to just quickly finish everything and leave the restroom, but then she clenched her hand in anger, damn it!
She had the blood of decades of selective breeding of the Kure Clan in her, the blood of a huge number of masters of various martial arts, obtained by women trained to be incredible spies, assassins, kunoichi, and other dangerous professions, women whose danger was equal only to their incredible attractiveness and sexuality, and here she was sitting with wet panties in the restroom like some damn slut!
She sharply rose from her spot and started pulling on her clothes; she knew that only Isao and she were going to see her mother, and she would use this chance for herself, but first...
She needed to officially break up with Hisashi; she was tired of this coward who, from the very start of this damn mess, couldn't even hug her the way Isao hugged her, a coward, just a damn coward.
What good friends he and Takashi were; one a worthless coward, blinded by his "kindness and saving others," and the other a shortsighted fool who blamed everyone and everything but himself.
Honestly, she wanted to hurt Hisashi for being such a coward, to show him how Isao would torment her body, just like Saeko, but... she knew Isao would be against it; he would just look at her with shock and disgust, which she didn't want, so she would just break up with him.
Her panties squelched slightly when she put on her skirt, making her wince with slight anger, damn... damn, right now she was barely restraining herself from taking off all her clothes and running to him, to have mind-blowing sex with Isao until she got pregnant, because Isao's blood needed to be spread, and she would be damn happy to do it.
After all, she wanted to thank the Clan that gave her so much useful, from her new, stronger body, to one technique... which she still hadn't tried.
A technique that removes all natural limitations imposed by the brain; right now, she could only remove 18% for more than five minutes; she just knew this thanks to the information package that was inserted into her.
This technique changed a lot, and damn it if she wouldn't thank the Kure Clan in the way they themselves had cultivated for over a hundred years.
She would simply get pregnant and recreate the clan again, but under a new name, under the name Yuimoto, a knot that would mark a new beginning for this world, herself, and the clan she would bear from her womb to serve Isao.
Yuimoto was a perfect combination of the surnames Tsumugi and Miyamoto, preserving the meaning of the Knot, the Threads of Tsumugi, and the Origin, the Foundation of Miyamoto, and Yuimoto means the origin where threads are bound into a single knot, where everything starts.
In simple words, Yuimoto surnames deep meaning is the starting point of fate, destiny and everything else.
Yes, perhaps this might seem too stupid to many, but she didn't worry about others; she only thought about Isao and herself, and how wonderful and deadly the children they would bear together using her own would be.
When she left the restroom, she saw her smile and realized her cheeks were flushed from the depravity of her own thoughts, but... h-how could she resist him?
I-Isao was just damn handsome on his own; his character and personality promised stability to all of them, and his strength only reinforced his confidence; he was just incredible in himself, making her heart beat faster.
W-was it wrong that she wanted them to be together? Huh?! No, of course, it wasn't wrong, but very right!
She walked quickly down the corridor, not hiding her flushed cheeks, and stepped outside, where their people were standing next to the Humvee.
The most noticeable among them was Saeko, who was looking towards the Podium, which had been set up again and which Isao was walking towards, Kouta who was holding a rifle that vaguely reminded her of the semi-automatic rifle she saw in the morning, but only vaguely, as the former newness of the weapon had been replaced by a disgusting appearance; some small inserts were visible under the forearm, and the magazines were much thicker and larger with welding marks on their body; she immediately averted her gaze from this monstrosity and looked up at another person who also sensed her.
Kotobuki Tsumugi, Isao's younger sister, who had undergone significant changes that most likely gifted her with many feline physical benefits, judging by her cat ears, tail, and much brighter blue eyes with elongated pupils.
She saw Kotobuki sniffing the air, and then wincing as if she had eaten a lemon, and this made her tremble with joy; she walked towards them, looking at Isao who was stopped on his way to the podium by Yuriko, who was telling him something with a worried look.
She only hoped that everything would be fine, and they wouldn't have to stay here too long; she still needed to find Hisashi, who wasn't visible here... oh no, there he was on the other side of the Humvee, playing with his powers, she decided to end everything here and now, there was no need to drag it out.
When she approached him, sitting on his knees and playing with his powers, lengthening, shortening, making the chain smaller and bigger, adding more spikes to it and so on, he stopped and looked up at her from below, flinching slightly when he saw her eyes.
"Hisashi, I wanted to tell you something." Her new, changed voice was much more pleasant; a slight raspiness still remained in her voice, but tones that could only be heard from incredible women were added; when she said these words, Hisashi's eyes widened slightly, but understanding and a slight, resigned pain also appeared in them.
"Ah... I know what you want to tell me." His voice was serious, as if he was trying to hide his pain behind it, and that made her smile.
"Yes, I no longer want a relationship with you; I realized that all this time we were both pulling a rubber band that was no longer capable of stretching." Her voice was precise, and her words uncompromising; she didn't need him to try to persuade her to "try everything again" and "give him another chance."
"Yes... I know, I knew it since yesterday, but for some reason, I didn't want to see it, maybe... the truth is that we are not meant for each other." He lowered his gaze to his hands, slowly getting up until he was fully standing and his eyes were slightly above her eye level; she had become slightly taller than before, catching up to his 171 centimeters of height. "I hope you will be happy with Isao, and he will definitely be able to take care of you better than I ever could." She looked at him with slightly widened eyes, and then smiled with a light force, hitting him on the shoulder, but it made him gasp.
"You're an idiot, you know?" She lightly tossed her hair back, looking at him. "Just because we're no longer a couple doesn't mean we have to break all ties; we can still remain good friends." A caring smile was on her face as she watched the pain in Hisashi's eyes disappear, replaced by just ordinary friendship.
"Then, I'm glad I have such a strong," He lightly rubbed the shoulder she had lightly hit. "friend, I really am glad." Hisashi smiled at her, making her chuckle.
"Oh, come on, I didn't hit you that hard." She started walking past him, waving her hands to see what would happen on the podium.
"Not very hard... but noticeable..." Hisashi's whisper reached her, but she didn't care anymore, because Isao was already heading to the podium.
POV Isao Tsumugi
Why the hell couldn't they have told me this earlier, huh?
Right now, I was walking toward the podium to tell people very important things, and this was the first time I'd had to do this in this life; I hoped that Crazy Lure and Charismatic Sunglasses would help me get people to listen to me implicitly, as most of the people here were on the verge of an emotional breakdown, and here I come bursting in with a trait that attracts all unstable people, in super charismatic glasses, and a fucking Goku Black outfit, with a sword on my hip like some damn Fortnite character.
Initially, I wanted to say, blah-blah-blah come with me, blah-blah-blah everything is fine, but now all my thoughts were in chaos because of the new information, the one that said we, Japan, were hit by an EMP.
And damn it, that was fucked up; we'd have to take a shitload of different candles for ordinary people from the mall, and I... I immediately remembered getting the Flashlight Palms ability... sorry for being too bad to you without even thinking about this, but in my defense, who the hell would think they'd be hit by an EMP? Right, no one!
I forgot that the outside world beyond Japan's borders existed because of all this mess on our side.
My custom shoes, which looked like Nike Air Jordan 4s, helped me climb the stairs up to the podium with a quiet thud.
The people who were walking back and forth anxiously noticed me and began to approach the podium; their faces began to smooth out, and their gaze slowly became calmer; somewhere on the periphery of my consciousness, I also noticed my wolves, sitting in the shade together, as well as the crow; I ordered all three to follow the convoy that all the other people would take, except for Rei and me, who would take the Humvee—yes, yes, I know, it's selfish, and it would be better to give the Humvee to other people, but I don't give a damn! I've already given powers to over five people, using which they will be able to damn well protect the convoy.
Most of the people looked at me with ordinary calm; the glasses covered my face from my eyebrows to the middle of my nose, and the Goku Black clothes with the sword made me visually older, calming them, but I noticed that over twenty-five percent of them looked at me with a gaze full of fanaticism, and hmm, this needed to be controlled; I needed to make sure they didn't start killing others as a sacrifice to me like some real fanatics; I'll give this task to Oegi; he's a good guy.
"The first thing I would like to say," My voice was calm, and not even very loud, but even so, it could be heard from across the yard. "The world has undergone changes; out there beyond these walls, dozens of different people are walking who are no longer bound by law because the government has literally been destroyed." They gasped as if hearing something terrible; damn it, couldn't you have figured that out much earlier, why are you gasping like fools?! "And all this is due to the second reason that changed the world, which has become a tumor not only for us, the citizens of Japan, but also for other countries, because the entire world has become infected with the zombie virus," An enormous pressure and horror fell upon them, and this damn thing wasn't mine, but their own fear that they felt. "But that doesn't mean we will die under the oppression of the dead; we will survive, we will live and thrive no matter what!" I raised my hand forward, and felt the atmosphere change from deathly stale to incredibly inspired, feeling a spiritual uplift of all these people in front of me with some back part of my brain. "So follow us, and we will live together! Now we will head to the Shopping Center where we will get all the necessary supplies, and then, unfortunately, we will have to leave our city in the hands of the bastards who don't care about the law, and the undead who don't wish to accept peace, but this is not a retreat!" People's faces became serious, and they began to look at me with a more conscious gaze. "This is only to gain enough time for us to heal all our wounds, to find more people, and to return much stronger! And when we return strong, we will take back Tokonosu for ourselves, and then cleanse all of Japan of the hands of unworthy people and the undead!"
[Raise the spirit of over a hundred people with a speech]
[2x Silver Ticket]
For a whole moment after my words ended, there was silence, but then... then the people roared, feeling their spirits rise; I saw how the panic and fear that sat in their eyes instantly disappeared right after my words; their roar was loud enough to be heard from the other end of the street, so I raised my hand in the air, making everyone quiet.
"Now, my friends, get into the cars and the bus; we all need to move faster, as we are in a race against time right now." They better not need to know that there were evolved zombies; instead of raising spirits, knowing this would break them.
I sighed, stepping down, and immediately used all the tickets I had, ordering Gacha to do it.
[Sensor]
Uncommon Trait
You have always had a knack for sensing and locating energy/mana/chakra etc. Your ability to sense and locate energy as well as your Thinker abilities are enhanced.
[Novice Mechanics]
Common Skill
You are as skilled as a mechanic apprentice, you know how to fix basic appliances and maybe even a car when provided with the right tools. You will however improve much faster than other people if you choose to train yourself.
[Adept Kama Sutra]
Rare Skill
You are very talented in the carnal art, being able to spot signs of arousal and attraction, in addition, you instinctively know how to pleasure your partner in bed and be a very pleasant recipient, enhancing pleasure for both of you.
The changes from the first trait were instantaneous; I could feel Yuriko walking towards me before I even looked in her direction, and... the theory was confirmed: zombies sense life force, and if the life force of ordinary people was slightly dull, those I awakened were like a burning candle, while I myself was a lamp.
But if it were that easy, the zombies would have surrounded the mansion, which meant that their sensory skills for life force develop along with them, and if an ordinary zombie would barely notice a lamp, an evolved zombie would easily notice it even through walls—distance, that's what interests me, how far can they sense other people? I won't check that.
Yuriko approached me with a smile, which was strikingly different from the smile she showed Soichiro after his speech; if then she seemed slightly exhausted, now she was glowing with happiness... for some reason, not my business, but I was going to do something good for her.
"Your speech was beautiful, Isao-sama." She bowed to me, saying this in a quiet but joyful voice, and her voice was just incredible; standing up, she continued to speak, looking at me with a gaze in which devotion was born. "People are not afraid like after my husband's speech, but rather happy and inspired; you are truly incredible."
"Yes, nothing special, by the way, are all the cars in normal condition? Did the EMP not damage them?" My voice did not express the embarrassment I felt from her praises.
"Yes, my Lord, our family mechanic who worked for us for a long time managed to check all the vulnerable spots of our vehicles; none of them were damaged despite the EMP." She nodded, looking at me, after which she noticed me approaching her quite closely and widened her eyes.
"You handled the work entrusted to you well, Yuriko, well done, I appreciate it, you did everything perfectly even though to you I am nobody, just some guy who beat up your husband..." She watched with slight nervousness as my hand approached her head, until finally my palm landed on her head. "and for this, I will awaken your powers." The effect was instantaneous; she sharply inhaled and looked at me with slightly widened pupils, and after realizing what I had given her, she even smiled, looking at her hands.
[Detonation]
Rare Ability
Allows you to charge any item you are holding with explosive energy that you can detonate at any time, turning them into what are essentially time bombs. The explosive energy fades over time. The more energy you expend, the stronger the explosion.
[Dexterous]
Rare Trait
You are unusually dexterous, granting you impeccable hand-to-eye coordination, motor skills, and control over your body.
Her powers were incredible as fuck! I just looked at her in silence while she was…
"I... thank you for this, Isao-sama." Her voice was slightly breathless and as if she was suffocating, making my dick stir, but by force of thought, I returned it to where it belonged; this woman was married, which means she's not a target.
But damn, she's so sexy, and her "Isao-sama" made me feel something incredibly pleasant inside me.
"You're welcome, Yuriko, drive to Tokonosu Plaza carefully, and yes, you control everything, consider yourself second to me on this mission." She blushed slightly and nodded, and I sighed, waving my hand at her, heading towards the Humvee.
I hope everything will be fine for them on the way; after saying goodbye to everyone around the Humvee, and getting playful slaps on the face a few times from K-imouto, I got into the car with Rei, who was unusually quiet.
And she and I were the first people to leave the mansion.
