Scalp tingling.
In an instant, Su Mu only felt a chill down his back, as if he had touched upon some terrifying truth. This time, the feeling was stronger than ever before.
The memory of the dream, which he vividly remembered just a moment ago, seemed to have been forcibly erased by an invisible hand from his mind, and this time, he was clearly aware of it.
But this was just the first time he noticed it, not necessarily the first time it happened.
Perhaps it had happened many times before, perhaps that's why he couldn't remember the contents of his dreams previously.
Even the inability to control his own memory, casually erased by a mysterious force of unknown origin, made Su Mu feel a sense of creeps.
"Not much time left?"
Su Mu seemed to repeat this phrase, then closed his eyes to try and recall, but his mind was blank, with the memory of the dream completely missing.
What was the force that erased his memory? What was its source?
Was it man-made, or something else…
