Passing through the mountains, the view suddenly opened up, and a flat basin appeared not far away. Along the way, Su Mu could notice the footprints left by a giant cat, guessing that this creature came from the northern Fierce Beast Mountain Range.
After all, it's not actually that far from here to the north.
Su Mu quickly caught a whiff of blood; there were dried bloodstains on the ground, and a severed arm lay silently. He crouched to examine it closely, noting that the bite marks on the severed end resembled that of a dog's teeth.
"Rest in peace."
Having survived a battlefield, Su Mu felt little turmoil facing such scenes. After a silent prayer, he continued forward.
Not far ahead were overgrown weeds, abandoned buildings covered with vines of various kinds, exuding an apocalyptic sense of decay. The most striking feature of the institute was a giant hemispherical building in the center, with a diameter exceeding a hundred meters.
"Let's go in and have a look."
