The former Linjiang Martial Arts Association President, now the Linjiang Base City Lord, Luo Cheng, was buried in paperwork in his office when a document caught his attention.
It was submitted by the newly appointed head of the Armed Department, Zhou Xie.
The Armed Department is usually stationed around the Fierce Beast Mountain Range, primarily responsible for the security of Linjiang Base. The Fierce Beast Mountain Range and the Hunting Teams generally fall under the Armed Department's management as well.
Zhou Xie's document indicated some recent anomalies in the Fierce Beast Mountain Range, including reports from old hunters in the Hunting Teams who heard beast roars at night that they've never heard before. Some have also encountered large fierce beast footprints in recent days.
There are also reports from the Hunting Teams of signs of restlessness among the fierce beasts in the mountain range.
