"Xiaozhang, do you play chess?"
Lin Moxuan asked.
He roughly understood his daughter's thoughts and purposely set an unattainable material condition to dissuade the other party.
But Lin Moxuan wouldn't allow such a situation to happen and directly took over today's matchmaking session.
Although he wasn't very satisfied with Zhang Chaofan either, it was much better than having his daughter be swayed by Shen Qiushan.
"Chinese chess?"
"I know a thing or two."
Zhang Chaofan replied modestly.
"Old Lin, Xiaozhang is just being modest. He's really good at Chinese chess; he even won the amateur chess tournament in Sanjiang City!"
Wang Shulan said with a cheerful smile.
"Runner-up, it was runner-up."
Zhang Chaofan humbly corrected.
"Being runner-up is impressive too!"
Lin Moxuan nodded with a smile. He originally planned to spar with Zhang Chaofan himself but then thought, given the guy was the runner-up in the Sanjiang City amateur chess tournament, he probably couldn't win.
