Leo didn't give her a second to process the kiss. The moment the words "You belong to me" left his lips, he acted.
He yanked Belladonna forward. He used his full strength, pulling her completely off balance. She collided with his chest with a heavy thud. Her body went rigid against his. Her eyes flashed with cold defiance.
"Let go," she snarled, digging her heels into the floor to find her footing. She put her hand against him, pushing with all her strength, "You must have cheated! The bet is void! I can't lose to you."
Leo did not let go. Instead, he laughed looking at her. He grabbed her by the waist with both hands, his fingers digging into her dress, anchoring her to him.
"A win is a win, Bandit Queen," he growled, leaning down into her face, "You got cocky. Now honour your words and pay with your body."
"Do not touch me," she hissed, turning her face away.
