Leo dropped his mental wall.
"Aiva, lead the goat to slaughter."
And in an instant, Elder Baez felt the resistance break.
His mind dived into the opening like a starving man grabbing for a piece of bread.
He expected to find the brain of some cocky young human. He expected to see a Level 30 or 35 fighter. He dove deep, thinking he was the one in charge of this mental fuckery.
Instead, he fell straight into a godless nightmare.
The shitty stone outpost was gone. The fire and the forest were wiped away.
Baez was now standing on a flat plain of black glass, but he could barely see the ground because it was buried under a thick, sticky lake of fresh blood.
The sky above was disgusting red, looking like someone had ripped it open with a dull, jagged blade. It was raining green, magical fire that hissed as it hit the ground, smelling like rotten eggs.
