Qin Gengyun woke up early. Every night for the past ten days, he had practiced for two additional two-hour sessions after dual cultivation, which consumed a lot of his energy, so he usually woke up later than Qiu Zhihe each morning.
But today was different. He wanted to be the first to share the good news with Qiu Zhihe.
Qin Gengyun got up, dressed, and sat by the bed. After a moment, Qiu Zhihe slowly turned over with slightly blurry eyes as if she had just woken up from a dream.
