When Yugito tried to sneak out, Uchiha Yoichi had already noticed. The reason he let her continue chatting with the two Hidden Cloud Ninja was to make Yugito give up.
Did those two really think they could rescue Yugito from Konoha Village, from the Uchiha Clan Land, just the two of them? What sort of team did they have?
"Go back to sleep. If you bother me with something like this again, prepare to say goodbye to the Tailed Beast."
Upon hearing this, Yugito's expression changed. She naturally understood what saying goodbye to the Tailed Beast meant — extracting the Tailed Beast from her body would mean her death as a Jinchuriki.
Just now, even her own ninja village wanted to kill her. This made Yugito feel completely abandoned by everyone; although Uchiha Yoichi had previously mentioned that Hidden Cloud might kill her, facing the reality was still hard for Yugito to believe.
"Why are you still standing here? Hurry back."
Uchiha Yoichi shouted from afar, and upon hearing him, Yugito immediately jogged to catch up. However, as she approached, she noticed something unusual between Uchiha Yoichi's legs.
Recalling the woman's voice she heard downstairs, Yugito blushed and turned away, murmuring softly,
"H"
Uchiha Yoichi glanced at Yugito upon hearing her. Did she think it was her fault that he got up from the sheets? If it weren't for those two fool Cloud Ninjas and her, he would be resting by now.
Uzumaki Minami hadn't returned, and Mikota almost wanted to settle down here; however, it was unrealistic, as she still had concerns.
Using Transformation Jutsu to sneak around quietly wasn't a problem. Uchiha Yoichi chose this secluded place to build his house, precisely because it was remote and undisturbed by people.
Upon returning, Uchiha Mikota drowsily asked, "What's wrong, Mr. Yoichi?"
"Nothing, sleep, Mikota."
Uchiha Yoichi comforted her with a sentence, then removed his clothes and held Mikota, preparing to sleep. But being disturbed by those two Cloud Ninjas left him no longer sleepy.
Moreover, Mikota twisted a few times in his arms for a comfortable sleeping posture, which ignited his temper, so Uchiha Yoichi moved, startling Mikota awake.
"Mr. Yoichi, it's too late~"
The night once again rang out with noise.
Downstairs, Yugito had just laid on the bed, trying to calm the day's unexpected terrible mood, when she heard the bed upstairs creaking.
'Didn't you say to sleep? H, you big pervert!!!'
Yugito pulled the blanket over her head, forcing herself to rest. But tonight's events struck her hard, leaving her incredibly fearful.
First, her village companions came, and then her village companions wanted to kill her!
Was her life completely insignificant for the rebirth of the Two-tailed? Yugito repeatedly pondered these doubts before falling asleep.
The next day.
Even though Uchiha Mikota was very tired last night, she still got up early and used Transformation Jutsu to avoid others, returning to the house where Uchiha Yoichi used to live, washed up and prepared to take a nap.
Uchiha Yoichi came out to check on the situation of those two from last night. The second person was already dead, with a broken neck; however, the first person was still alive, having only fainted from severe injuries.
"Consider it lucky."
He knew these two were emissaries from the Cloud, but Uchiha Yoichi didn't hesitate at all to take action.
He called several Security Team members to send the dead body to the Interrogation Team; the living one was first treated and then detained, and Uchiha Yoichi headed to the Hokage Building.
After informing the Third Generation Hokage about the incident, the latter twitched his mouth for a long time, even stopping his smoking,
"I understand, Mr. Yoichi, since they didn't intend to negotiate with us properly, let's not treat them as emissaries anymore."
Sarutobi Hiruzen tapped his pipe and spoke to Uchiha Yoichi; if the other side had succeeded in killing the Two-tailed Jinchuriki, the Cloud Ninjas might not even hold up their end.
"I understand. I'll hand the living one to the Interrogation Team later."
"By the way, Mr. Yoichi, the Two-tailed Jinchuriki...."
"Don't worry, Lord Hokage. After today's events, Yugito feels even more disappointed with the Hidden Cloud Village. She now has a ninety-percent chance of becoming a Konoha Ninja."
Uchiha Yoichi said, "The Hidden Cloud Village is foolish enough to want to kill their own ninja. Now they've not only failed but made Yugito harbor hatred towards them. Initially, I didn't know how to help her abandon her identity as a Hidden Cloud Ninja, but now the Cloud has been a great help."
"Is that so? Then I suppose it's a good thing...."
Sarutobi Hiruzen found himself a bit speechless, suspecting Uchiha Yoichi was implying something about someone, fortunately, Danzo was not here.
"If there's nothing else, then Third Generation, I'll head back now."
"Mm, thank you for your hard work, Mr. Yoichi."
Sarutobi Hiruzen finished speaking and watched Uchiha Yoichi leave.
He couldn't forcefully ruin his rapport with Uchiha Yoichi now, who had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, battled with the Eight-tailed Jinchuriki, and almost rallied the name of the Uchiha Race.
Without catching a significant mistake, even as the Third Generation Hokage, his title wouldn't be much use.
Even directly demanding the Two-tailed Jinchuriki, he believed Uchiha Yoichi would have various reasons to refuse; like handing him over to the Security Team, which had the authority granted by the Second Generation Hokage to detain hazardous persons from enemy ninja villages.
