The setting sun tilted to the west, the afterglow shrouded the pagoda in a golden light, as if the light of Buddha illuminated it, sacred and solemn.
However, many children of the 80s did not like this pagoda. Influenced by a popular TV series, they once believed that Leifeng Pagoda really suppressed the White Lady.
The last scenic spot is the Evening Bell Ringing at Nanping Hill.
Every evening, the ancient bell of Jingci Temple on Nanping Mountain would ring, the deep and resonant sound passing through the caves and rock hollows on the mountain, creating a hundred bells ringing effect due to the special acoustics, echoing from the mountaintop to the lake, making all listeners solemn.
At Jingci Temple, Lu Haoran, Xiaoyanzi, and Qin Shiqing also donated a bit for incense, lit a few sticks, and planned to pray and make a wish.
Su Zelin couldn't be bothered to participate; although he always called himself Su Banxian, he actually didn't believe in such things.
