Traffic accidents are generally classified into four levels.
Minor accident: refers to an incident causing 1 to 2 minor injuries, or property damage involving motor vehicles of less than 1000 yuan, or non-motor vehicle accidents of less than 200 yuan.
General accident: refers to an incident causing 1 to 2 serious injuries, or more than 3 minor injuries, or property damage of less than 30,000 yuan.
Major accident: refers to an incident causing 1 to 2 deaths, or between 3 to 10 serious injuries, or property damage between 30,000 to 60,000 yuan.
Extremely serious accident: refers to an incident causing more than 3 deaths, or more than 11 serious injuries, or 1 death with more than 8 serious injuries, or 2 deaths with more than 5 serious injuries, or property damage exceeding 60,000 yuan.
