Chapter 326 - Chapter 180: Rocks' Treasure

"I can see that."

Shano's gaze swept over and lingered at the harbor for a moment.

There, the charred wrecks of at least a dozen ships struck by lightning were scattered around.

And these were just the ones on the surface; there would definitely be more sunken beneath the sea. Clearly, many pirates had attempted to land adventurously, only to end up buried here.

"Desolate and disaster-prone, it's perfect for honing Observation skills."

Shano laughed heartily, "Let's stay here for a few days. But let's not dock the ship. We'll anchor directly. Beyond this point, the risks are too high. You can stay on the ship or find something else to do, like exploring the island, it's up to you."

"Yes, Captain!"

The crew immediately sprang into action, furling the sails and dropping the anchor.

"I don't quite get it, Brother Katakuri."

Jack, who was responsible for dropping the anchor, asked while lifting it with one hand, "If this island is so dangerous and there's not even a small town, why do so many pirates come here to die?"

Katakuri glanced sidelong at Jack.

After a day together, he found the young man's straightforward nature quite endearing. They even sparred a bit in the afternoon, and Jack's terrifying power secretly amazed him.

Even though it would be nearly impossible for him to get past himself in a real fight.

But as for the other three siblings among the Four Commanders, that was uncertain; perhaps only Smoothie could match him.

Cracker and Snack might be hard-pressed to contend.

Considering that mysterious Female Sword Master who inexplicably held a cold demeanor towards him...

Katakuri squinted.

Tsk, it seems this Shano isn't just close to the level of a Sea Emperor in terms of power. His subordinates are quite the talents as well.

The only issue is that this young brother Jack seems to have misunderstood him, thinking he was part of the Fishman Race.

The two had found a good rapport in their conversation.

At this point, he couldn't bring himself to admit that his appearance was due to eating too many donuts as a child.

"That's a good question. While most pirates are naturally adventurous, they wouldn't persist on landing in such perilous places as Thunder God Island without sufficient motivation."

Katakuri retrieved his gaze and pointed at the remains of the ships with a deep voice, "The main reason for this situation is a rumor that began circulating over thirty years ago."

"It's said that before the complete annihilation of the Rocks Pirate Gang, they buried their most precious treasure here. Thunder God Island, which was already well-known, suddenly gained even more fame."

"Rocks' treasure?!"

The surrounding crew members were all shocked upon hearing this.

Only Nami raised her hand in confusion, "Who is Rocks?"

"You've never heard of that name, Nami? Before Roger became famous, that guy was already known as the Sea Dominator!"

Smoker puffed out a smoke ring, "You might not quite grasp the weight of those words, but you just need to know one thing."

"Among the current Four Emperors, aside from the youngest Red Hair, the other three, Whitebeard, Kaido, and even this Brother Katakuri's mother, were all his crew members!"

Among the Four Emperors, three were his subordinates?

This realization finally dawned on Nami, who inhaled sharply. This was even more intimidating than the title of World's No.1 Sword Master her brother held!

"The treasure left by Roger, known as ONE PIECE, is said to be hidden in Laugh Tale and has never been found."

Robin touched her chin, smiling, "But this Thunder God Island lies near the entrance to the New World, and countless pirate ships pass by every year. With that being the case, and the treasure still undiscovered after so many years, the rumor might be unreliable, shouldn't it?"

"Who knows? Anyway, in recent years, fewer pirates believe in this rumor."

Katakuri shook his head, "A dozen years ago, even my mom sent people here to search for it, and after days of fruitless efforts, she gave up. I tend to think the rumor was fabricated, or someone already secretly took it... In any case, I'm not interested, Lord Shano."

He turned his head towards Shano, "You probably don't believe such rumors either, right? Should we just start training?"

"Of course."

Shano grinned, "Even if the rumor is true, I'm not excited about treasure; sparring is far more interesting."

Having said that, he led the way with a Moonwalk, heading towards Thunder God Island, with Katakuri following closely.

Jack eagerly followed first.

He wasn't interested in the rumor at all; he simply wanted to watch the spectacle, laughing over someone's misfortune.

Back on Klaykan Island, during closed-door training, when Big Brother Shano personally guided them, he was ruthlessly turned into a punching bag, kicked around like a soccer ball. He was beaten black and blue daily, doubting life itself.

Now that there was finally a second unlucky soul to share in this honor, how could he miss such a good show?

Smoker, with a cigar in his mouth, took Vergo to another part of the island. He was determined to settle things with Vergo somehow today.

Kuina also followed; she was there to oversee, preventing Vergo from escaping during the process.

Robin, Zeff, Ah Yin... one after another, they all gradually went to the island. Such a geographic wonder was rare and unusual; it would be a pity not to personally go up, experience it, and take a tour.
