The screeching sound of Hikari's dagger against the stone. She poured some Illenium dust into the cracks.
Arranging the mana crystals in a circle, her makeshift ritual circle is ready.
Now for the protein mix. She poured a sack of wheatgrass and ivory berries into the cauldron as the base, followed by dicing up the fruits found in the mana vein.
She took out a chunk of frozen wyvern meat. Preserved in her backpack using the freezing crystals from the mana vein.
By inserting daggers at various points, she was able to cook the wyvern meat from the inside.
She sliced it up into fine chunks and tossed them into the cauldron. Grounded the ingredients using the butt of her sword handle.
Some water and an acidic mix to make the mixture easier to swallow.
"Here we go again."
The mix from the cauldron flowed down her throat. The Illenium below her flared up with mana flowing into her.
"Argh.." the usual pain of nutrients and mana flowing into her.
She meditated for hours.

Knock. Knock. The weak sound of knuckles knocking against steel.
"Hikari? Are you done? Can I come in? We have some stuff to discuss."
Rey's voice came from outside the warehouse.
"Yes."
Hikari telekinetically pulled open the steel door across the warehouse, allowing Rey to walk in.
The lanterns inside the warehouse lit up.
He saw Hikari in her king salamander suit.
It was dim but he could make out her exposed muscular arms and thick thighs.
She was barefooted as she tried to fit her foot onto her boot soles that had gotten too small for her.
Her cotton knee sock half assembled as she tried to reconfigure them into a sock that fits her new size.
Rey's nose bled and his crotch bulged.
He turned to the side, facing the wall.
"Ahem! First order of business, your lady Ria is very eager to learn of our progress. Here's her letter addressed to-"
The steel door slammed shut, making Rey jump.
Then, he felt an invisible force pull himself towards Hikari, crashing into a wall of damp cotton.
"Oh? The Hortifern potion wore off?"
Rey recovered from the impact. He looked up and saw the pinkish skin on Hikari's bare soles, sweaty and dirty with black patches from the dust in the mine shaft.
"Oops, I think they are a bit dirty."
She pulled back one foot, resting it on her thigh and scraped the bottoms with the edge of her dagger, doing the same for the other foot.
"Do you like feet?"
Rey's eyes were glued to her soles. His nose twitched at the smell. His pants bulged even hard.
"No! I don't-"
"We'll see about that. Besides, my socks are completely drenched after marching through all those tunnels. Especially that queen spider, that really makes my feet sweat from all that jumping."
He was pressed into the soles of Hikari's feet. Hikari gently moved her feet, rubbing him against it. Using him as her foot rug. She could feel his heart pounding, his growing boner poking ticklishly against her sole.
"Your body certainly does. Hehe~ Just relax, I feel happy after I grow. Like very very happy. I want you to feel happy too. I know this will make you feel happy."
Rey wet his pants against her soles. But Hikari continued pressing him against her soles.
"Already?That was quick. That's why I don't play with boys much. I don't think thatwas satisfying enough for you. It certainly wasn't for me. Hehe~. Remember to breathe. I'm in trouble if you suffocate against my feet."
Rey took a deep breath. He choked on the pungent stench. But he sniffed again. Harder and harder. His boner, despite having already released once, just kept going. Between the smell of Hikari's foot and her humiliating voice booming in his head, there was only one way for it to go.
"Oh my, you know. Your thing down there is kind of big compared to your body. Hehe~ I doubt it, it might be hard enough to give me just a tiny massage. Hehe~."
"Ahh…!" Rey released again, more painfully than the first. "Ahh! Ahh!" He screamed at the top of his voice as he felt his pointy thing burn.
"Good thing I can make a sound barrier."
Hikari released him. He knelt in front of Hikari's sole, shivering in pleasure. His face was completely red. His shirt was damp with Hikari's sweat and smells like her feet. His pants were still bulging.
After taking several minutes to recover, he pulled out a vial from his pocket, pushed off the cork, and gulped down the contents in one go.
His breathing stabilised.
"Please don't do that Hikari."
Hikari withdrew her feet, sitting in a meditating position.
Rey opened his backpack and pulled out a fresh change of uniform.
"But, thanks. I owe you one back there."
"It's nothing."
"Clean up the ritual first. It's unlikely, but the inspectors can theoretically show up here since the rescue team behind us is done clearing the cave in."
Hikari swept up the Illenium dust, gathering them in her backpack. The cracks in the stone closed up. Using her dagger, she scraped the sides of the cauldron for the left overs, burning the rest to ashes to destroy the evidence.
Rey walked around inspecting the area.
"This should suffice. Remember to dump the Illenium dust when you go topside."
Hikari nods. Rey reached into his old pants and pulled out an envelope.
"Ria's letter. She must be eager to hear of our progress."
To Hikari, if this letter finds you, I am overjoyed that you are alive and well. The inspectors have just arrived. Normally we hate them but they are a sign that the raid is near its end. For us anyway, I have ordered a feast for you. The famed Herdial bird said to be the favourite dish of the goddess Herda. Hope to see you back at the camp. P.S. we are sending you more of everything just in case you need more. Your lady Ria.
Hikari smiled, sucking her saliva back into her mouth.
"Let's write a reply together. The inspectors are legally authorized to read any correspondence we have during the raid. So I'll double check the contents."
"Mmm, we are doing good."
"And?"
"Thats it. I guess"
"Well, there's more space on the paper to write more words. Unless you just want me to write that in boldface to convey your booming voice."
"Yep."
Rey shakes his head. "I'll write it then." Rey scribbled on the paper with his quill
To my porcelain princess Ria. Your letter has indeed found us well. Hikari says 'we are doing good'. She is sitting right before me in good condition as I write. We have successfully reached our planned objective. Our only directive now is to hold our positions for the slayer team to gain passage to the queen wyvern. Whether they succeed or not, which I hope they do, we are scheduled to be back within the week. P.S I am deeply jealous you have not ordered a Herdial bird for me. Rey held up his letter for Hikari to read.
Hikari laughs, her voice echoing through the warehouse. Rey almost thought that she would cause a cave in.
"So what happens now?"
Rey shrugs. "Nothing much. Just wait for the drill to finish the rest of the tunnel. Then just sit back and enjoy the show as the slayers take down the queen wyvern. Or if things go south for them, we just gotta run."
Hikari let out a loud yawn.
"Your rations will be here soon. Once you eat up, go do your, ahem, scouting. Remember, don't bring anything back this time and don't drop back into the shaft glowing like a flare stick."
Hikari nods.
