Chapter 962 - Chapter 393: Surely There's Someone You Like, Right?

Drifting on the ship is a tough affair. When the sea is calm, it's manageable, but in waters like the West Wind Drift Zone, it's life-threatening.

As we all know, between the continents of the Southern Hemisphere and Antarctica, there's a vast expanse without land.

The wind blows across the sea with no obstruction, being as low as a level five or six, but when it's strong, it can reach levels eleven or twelve, even higher.

The sea current, too, rushes unhindered and quite fast.

You can imagine what it's like on the ship.

Fortunately, the West Wind Zone isn't too long. After all, we aren't roaming within the West Wind Zone, but merely passing through to reach Antarctica.

Once past the West Wind Zone, the situation alleviates considerably.

Moreover, the Antarctic continent is in sight.

"It's finally over," Neville said exhaustedly, clutching the toilet, "When we return, I'd rather not be on a ship! I never want to sail through here again!"

"Don't worry," Harry patted Neville on the shoulder, "When we come back, we'll use a Door Key—oh, I see scallops. Shellfish are never particularly friendly to men, are they?"

He was referring to the partially undigested scallops Neville had thrown up.

"Ugh!" Neville lowered his head, retching while his face turned a sickly hue.

"I think we should have Professor Snape develop an anti-seasickness potion." Draco, looking slightly pale himself but still in better shape than Neville and Seamus, suggested, "What do you think, Harry?"

"How would you get him to do that?" Harry raised an eyebrow, "Bring Professor Snape along next time we're on a ship?"

"Not a bad idea." Draco's eyes lit up, "I'd love to see how Professor Snape handles crossing the West Wind Zone—would he cling to the toilet like Neville?"

Harry raised his head, envisioning Professor Snape clutching the toilet in a vomitous state, finding the mental picture surprisingly delightful, almost brilliant!

"You really are a good student of Slytherin," he said to Draco with a mix of sarcasm and admiration.

"Thank you for the compliment." Draco bowed gracefully.

In the afternoon, they finally reached the Antarctic continent.

Unfortunately, there's no presence of wizards on the Antarctic continent, leaving them to temporarily settle at the UK research station.

Luckily, being wizards, they didn't have to worry about such extreme weather, as magic spells existed.

Magic spells, quite amazing, aren't they?

However, this was the coldest time in the Southern Hemisphere.

"I still don't understand why anyone would choose to travel to a place where not even birds poop,"

Cassandra wrapped herself in a thick Slytherin-style scarf, though she wore 120D gray velvet stockings on her lower half.

As a wizard with profound mana, she didn't fear the cold.

"I need to correct you," Vivi interrupted Cassandra's language slip at a critical moment, "This isn't a place devoid of bird droppings. You should know, penguins are birds too. They live in Antarctica and do their business here."

Cassandra opened her mouth but eventually just snorted to express her discontent.

Admittedly, Vivi was right.

"I have a question," Pabi said, donning her Hufflepuff scarf, "Where do we plan to take a break? What's our destination? Is it the South Pole or elsewhere?"

"Just wandering around," Vivi answered cheerfully, "If you want to go to the South Pole, we can. I happen to have prepared a carriage."

"A carriage?" Pabi asked with interest, "What will you use to pull it? I read an article about a Brit named Scott who used ponies and froze in the Antarctic wilderness— while that Amundsen survived because he used sled dogs."

Hearing Pabi's words, everyone shivered.

"Don't mention such unlucky events," Harry corrected.

"Don't worry, it's not ponies, nor sled dogs," Vivi said with a smile, "You'll know once we leave here."

The staff at the research station didn't notice these wizards. In fact, Vivi had set some Confusion Spells before departure, making them unable to see anything related to wizards.

Even if they were about to collide with a wizard, they'd inadvertently miss them due to some coincidence.

Once they left the research station, they gathered in an open area.

The surroundings were a blinding expanse of white.

"Where's the carriage?" Cassandra asked.

Vivi took out a wallet, and shortly after, a luxurious carriage appeared in the open space.

In front of the carriage, harnessed were two giants, about fifteen feet tall, covered in long, thick white fur.

"Yetis?" Pabi exclaimed, "You managed to get yetis? Wow, it's genius to use yetis to pull a carriage… but how do you get them moving?"

"Get on first," Vivi beckoned.

Everyone boarded in order, immediately feeling a warm sensation upon entering the carriage.

Magic, quite amazing, isn't it?

The interior of the carriage wasn't like ordinary ones with two rows of seats; it was like a train carriage, with an aisle in the middle and several compartments on either side.

Neville and Seamus picked one compartment, Hermione and Ron chose another, and naturally, the remaining one belonged to Harry and his group.

Once everyone was seated, Vivi snapped her fingers.

Then, the two yetis howled to the sky.
