Chapter 337 - Chapter 158: Vivi's Forced Magic Power Replenishment

Harry ignored that side and released Farina.

"Farina?!"

At the sight of the Black Witch, Newt and Tina stood up together.

"You know her?" Harry asked curiously.

"Of course we do." Newt pointed his magic wand at Farina and introduced her to Harry: "This is the Black Witch Farina who has been on the Auror's most-wanted list for years. I never thought she would be caught by you..."

He then realized that Farina had been brought here by Harry.

He awkwardly put down his wand and lowered his head, a bit embarrassed.

"I have doubts about the level of British Aurors, Professor Scamander," Harry said, shaking his head. "Farina lives in Diagon Alley. Doesn't the Ministry of Magic conduct thorough searches every time?"

"Hehehe—hey!"

Farina let out a sinister laugh, raised her head, and said, "Guess what? Mr. Potter? Ever since You-Know-Who's fall and the Death Eaters were all purged, the Aurors no longer carefully inspect Diagon Alley. That's why it's become a gathering place for Dark Wizards—because it's a lawless area."

"No wonder." Harry nodded, noting that since Voldemort was done away with, the Ministry of Magic had begun to limit Auror powers.

How to comment on this...

Harry felt it was hard to say.

"Come on, enough small talk," Harry said to them. "Who wants to be the first to challenge our assistant instructor?"

"Assistant instructor?" Farina grinned upon hearing the term. "I like that title. Oh dear, who wants to be the first to deal with me? Ah... that handsome guy over there, you."

She was pointing at Cedric.

"The handsome guy from Hufflepuff, I mean you." Farina chuckled sinisterly.

Cedric stepped out, somewhat unwilling. It wasn't that he was afraid of Farina; he just found her laughter and gaze a bit unsettling.

No, not just unsettling, especially that gaze...

"Come on, when I say start, you start," Harry said to Farina again. "Remember our agreement—"

"Understood, Mr. Potter." Farina curbed her madness and bowed slightly to Harry.

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

"Expelliarmus!"

"Crucio!"

Two crimson beams shot out. Farina nimbly dodged Cedric's Disarming Spell, but Cedric did not have such great combat skills. He was hit by the Cruciatus Curse on the spot and fell to the ground, clearly doing a few jerking movements.

Newt drew out his wand again, this time in sync with Tina.

"Professor Scamander," Harry hurriedly called them off. "Relax, this is our agreement—"

Yes, the agreement was that anything but Avada Kedavra could be used, as long as it didn't result in death.

Actually, even if it was a Killing Curse, Harry could block it with a Transformation Spell in time—or, if he didn't react quickly enough, Fiona was standing by.

The Phoenix, well, swallowing a couple of Killing Curses is routine, aids digestion, and promotes intestinal mobility.

Newt hesitatedly put down his wand, suspiciously looking at Harry.

The look clearly said, do you really run your Dueling House this wild? Bringing in a Black Witch as an assistant instructor, and not even banning the use of Unforgivable Curses?

You truly are treating practice like real combat, aren't you?

"I don't think this is a good training method, Mr. Potter," Newt said.

"I think so too, Mr. Scamander," Harry said helplessly. "But what they're going to face in the future are Black Witches, I can't exactly tell them, 'Hey, don't worry, the Dark Wizards you'll meet will be the kind who conjure yellow rubber ducks with their wands,' can I?"

Tina accepted Harry's view, after all, she was once an Auror—but in fact, Newt had no less experience than Aurors, given he even personally caught the then most powerful Dark Wizard Grindelwald.

Yes, the very Sniff captive.

"Have Cedric reflect over there, you two carry him," Harry told Seamus and Neville. "Next, you guys... Megan, you deal with Farina."

"Huh? Me deal with Farina?" Megan said somewhat uncertainly, "Really, have me fight..."

Despite what she said, she still stood in front of Farina.

Even though she anticipated a Cruciatus Curse, she couldn't dodge it and was cleanly knocked down by Farina.

"Next is you, Hermione," Harry began calling names.

Predictably, Hermione too twitched as she was brought down to the ground.

Next, it was Neville's turn—Harry thoughtfully reminded Farina not to use the Cruciatus Curse on Neville, so Farina used the Imperius Curse to make Neville perform a perfect tap dance.

However, what surprised her was that Neville quickly broke free from the Imperius Curse, and with a backhand, cast a Disarming Spell.

But it was to no avail; Neville was knocked unconscious by a Stupefied.

"Your turn, Seamus," Harry said again.

When the countdown hit one, Seamus, without thinking, used his most powerful explosive spell.

"Bombarda Maxima!"

Farina intended to end the fight with a Cruciatus Curse, but a sudden sense of foreboding appeared, and with a sudden intuition, she dodged aside.

A loud boom followed by a violent shaking of the ground, Farina glanced at the original spot, already a not-so-small pit had appeared.

Are young wizards all such monsters now?
