For example, a lazy donkey rolling over.
"I think I should consult with him too," Cedric said.
The next day's Magical Creatures class, Cedric indeed cozied up to Assistant Gael.
Gellert knew this big Hufflepuff boy, and when he heard there was a Hufflepuff looking for him, Gellert almost threw up.
But considering the other party was a member of the Dueling House, Gellert still felt he should meet him to see what he was up to.
Cedric explained his intentions, and Gellert didn't refuse. Following the principle that one egg rolls just the same as two eggs roll, he decided to teach this Hufflepuff boy.
Of course, it wasn't for Harry, but because of Newt.
If he didn't cultivate a Hufflepuff, Gellert would feel sorry for Newt stealing his Blood Alliance.
In the past half week, Cedric had frequently consulted Gellert about dueling knowledge.
It must be said, Gellert and Harry have completely different styles, and with complementing strengths, Cedric's dueling skills have made significant progress.
Of course, his own strength wasn't an issue, he was just unlucky when facing Farina.
He hadn't anticipated Farina would start with a Drilling Curse; it was utterly dishonorable.
If she'd only used ordinary White Magic Spell, Cedric might not be able to handle her, but he wouldn't be defeated so easily.
"Are you saying that Vivi's words meant Aquia Electa Iovis Omnia Vincit (The Eagle Chosen by God Conquers All)?"
In the hall, Harry asked bizarrely.
"Yes, Sister Vivi also said she met Otto a few days ago," Hermione replied, also with a bizarre expression: "Just... Otto von Habsburg..."
"Otto, huh." Harry nodded knowingly, "I don't know him."
"He's the Crown Prince of Austria-Hungary, the head of the Habsburg Dynasty," Hermione explained to Harry.
With that said, Harry understood.
Seems like he's one of Aunt Vivi's descendants?
"That Otto," Harry thought for a moment, then asked, "What's his relationship with Joseph Franz?"
"It should be..." Hermione calculated in her head: "Let me think, uh... Joseph's nephew is Archduke Ferdinand, Archduke Ferdinand's nephew is Otto's father Carl..."
"Oh, Carl." Harry remembered, he didn't know about others, but Carl he knew well.
No wonder Vivi went to see Otto, turns out there's some family relation there.
When Carl was young, Vivi even held him, so Carl should call Vivi Aunt.
Thinking about it made Harry feel a bit scared; an old Otto still have to call a seventeen-year-old girl great-aunt...
Seems like someone is worse off than Lucius, Harry thought.
But... why did Vivi go see that old nephew?
Harry found it a bit baffling, but his strength was never to overthink things he didn't understand.
Can't possibly be for restoration...
Time passed day by day, soon it was Saturday again.
This Saturday is the day for Hogwarts students to go to Hogsmeade.
Hogsmeade is the only village in the United Kingdom with no Muggles, filled entirely with Wizards. It's a unique, beautiful small village with cottages and shops specially thatched with straw roofs.
On holidays, the trees in the village are always filled with candles enchanted with magic.
The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry lies by the large lake originating from the village, and the terminal of the Hogwarts Express is also set in the village, marking the start of each new school year for students.
Along the lakeside emerges a small path leading directly from the station to the Hogwarts Castle.
But the Hogwarts School requires only third-year students and above, with guardians' signature permission, to visit on designated Saturdays.
"I want to go to Hogsmeade too," Hermione said, peering out the window.
"But we have to wait another year before we can go, you know," Ron sighed.
"Don't worry, Hermione," Cedric said as he passed by Hermione. "If there's anything you want, I can bring it back for you to try — like Duke Honey's candies?"
"Okay, thank you, Cedric," Ron said eagerly. "I'd like some blackcurrant flavored candies, please bring some for me."
Cedric gave an OK gesture and turned to leave the castle.
He, Megan, and a few other students followed the path all the way to Hogsmeade.
"Let's eat something first," Megan suggested. "I kind of miss the Pig Head Bar, the food Mr. Dumbledore makes — ah, though it looks hard to swallow, but the taste is really good."
The Pig Head Bar is a pub run by Dumbledore's brother, Abufosi Dumbledore, with the first floor being the bar and the second floor serving as a lodging, similar to the Broken Cauldron Bar.
The bar itself is a small and dark dirty room filled with a strong scent of mutton.
Thick dirt is smeared on several convex windows, barely letting in any light, and coarse wooden tables have candles lit on them.
As Megan entered the bar, she rolled her eyes and gagged.
"I always can't stand the smell of mutton, but I do love the food made by the boss," Megan remarked, pinching her nose.
"You'll get used to the smell after a while..." Cedric rubbed his chest, though he also wasn't completely comfortable.
It was precisely for this reason that the other Hufflepuff students chose not to join them but instead went to Three Broomsticks for some Butter Beer and sparkling water.
They sat at the bar, and Cedric said to Abufosi, who was wiping glasses, "The usual, Mr. Dumbledore, two servings of food..."
"Ah, it's you, Mr. Digory, and Miss Jones." Abufosi nodded at them with a smile, and turned to walk into the kitchen.
Before long, he came out with two plates.
The plates contained two lumps of green, purple, and pitch-black unidentified objects.
"Try it," he said with a smile.
The two seemed to have craved it for a long time, eagerly grabbing their spoons, putting the dish into their mouths, and showing a satisfied expression.
"That's the flavor." he said.
Abufosi continued wiping glasses, placing each cleaned glass into the cabinet beside him.
"Actually, I think Assistant Gael is quite skillful," Cedric said. "Why don't you join me in consulting him about dueling techniques?"
"Next time you go to him, remember to call me along," Megan said, "But I think we should bring him some gifts, can't let him teach us for free — what do you think we should buy?"
"I have no idea." Cedric stuffed a large spoonful of food into his mouth.
"How about buying a parrot? Like Hermione's Sunflower Cockatoo, I noticed Assistant Gael really likes it." Megan suggested with a laugh, "Maybe it's because Assistant Gael thinks the parrot looks like him?"
Upon hearing this, the glass in Abufosi's hand dropped to the ground with a clatter.
