Chapter 327 - Chapter 156: Prophecy and Cassandra's Valentine's Day Gift (8000)_2

"I know, because you're Vivi's brother," said Harry.

Gellert seemed to enjoy Harry's words, and he smiled smugly.

"Alright, let's get to the point—do you have anything of hers?" Gellert asked, "Perhaps if we have something Miss Malfoy has used, the prophecy might be more accurate."

Harry thought for a moment and remembered the notebook Cassandra had left behind.

"I have a notebook," he said, "Just wait a moment, I'll go get it."

He turned and quickly left the area, returning to the Gryffindor common room to retrieve the precious notebook, and hurried back with it in his arms.

Gellert was still waiting for him in the same spot, and when he saw Harry approach, he simply smiled and reached out his hand.

"This is it." Harry handed the notebook to Gellert: "This is the notebook Cassandra once used. Try to see if you can find any clues from it?"

Gellert said nothing, took the notebook in his hand, and gently closed his eyes.

Nearly half an hour passed without him opening his eyes.

Just as Harry was starting to feel impatient, Gellert opened his eyes and softly said, "What I saw... isn't very comprehensive. The clues about Cassandra might be related to this notebook, and also... Merlin?"

At this point, Gellert frowned and looked at Harry.

"Finding clues about Miss Malfoy is closely related to Merlin—it might be crucial to solving the mystery if you could understand how she's trying to cross time."

Merlin?

Harry rubbed his temples, Merlin... what connection does Merlin have with Cassandra?

Could it be that what Cassandra stole from the family vault is related to Merlin?

However...

Harry recalled the Merlin trials from a hundred years ago, or perhaps Cassandra is hiding at one of the Merlin trial locations?

"Are there any other clues?" Harry asked again.

"That's all I can see for now, Potter," Gellert replied with a chuckle, "Don't worry, I won't hide anything from you in this matter. I hope for Miss Malfoy's return even more than you do."

Yes, he absolutely meant it.

To Gellert, his sister's greatest rival was Miss Malfoy.

If Miss Malfoy could lower her stance a bit, his sister might truly have no chance at all.

Although Harry could feel Gellert's sincerity in this matter, his instincts still told him that Gellert had nothing good planned.

Time passed quickly; it seemed like only the blink of an eye had brought them to the second Friday of February.

Pabi lost interest after auditing for two weeks, though she might occasionally sit in on Harry's classes.

She didn't need any particular reason—after all, she's a board member, just a whim of power.

As for Harry, he's recently been holding a map of the United Kingdom, marking the locations of Merlin's trials all over the country.

Vivi hasn't returned to Hogwarts; she seems completely immersed in a sea of Muggle knowledge.

He had hoped Vivi would come back to help mark the Merlin trial locations on the map, but unfortunately...

However, the Merlin trial sites Harry has visited are limited to the Scottish Highlands... He's planning to revisit these places during this time.

He yawned and arrived at Dumbledore's office.

"Professor," Harry greeted him.

"Harry." Dumbledore raised his eyes and noticed Harry's evident dark circles, concernedly asking, "What's happened? You seem like you're not resting well?"

"I've been comparing and marking the addresses of the Merlin trials lately, so I haven't been sleeping well," Harry said with a yawn.

"Merlin trials?"

Dumbledore wasn't hearing this term for the first time; curiously, he asked, "What's that?"

"Don't you know?" Harry asked in surprise.

Dumbledore replied, "I've only heard others mention it, but I've never found a genuine 'Merlin's trial'."

Harry thought to himself, all the little games left by Merlin that could be found in the Scottish Highlands have been solved by Cassandra and me; it would truly be strange if you could find them.

"Lady Nora Tridwell believes those things were a sort of diversion left by him for his Slytherin schoolmates. As you know, Merlin was famous for liking puzzles and mysterious events." Harry said with a yawn, "Gellert's prophecy states that Miss Cassandra Malfoy's whereabouts might have some connection to Merlin, so I immediately thought of Merlin's trials."

"Is that so?" Dumbledore became intrigued right away: "In my younger days, I tried to start Merlin's trials too, but I never found the right method; I spent an entire year in the Forbidden Book Area without finding a way."

Harry sharply caught Dumbledore's words, suspiciously asking, "Are you saying you stayed in the Forbidden Book Area for a year?"

"Haha, would you like a candy?" Dumbledore reached into the jar for an orange C inner candy: "Go on, it's delicious..."

Your method of changing the subject is really clumsy, Harry thought, accepting the candy.

Harry chose not to expose Dumbledore further, deciding to show him some respect since he still needed his help.
