Chapter 311 - Chapter 150: Grindelwald’s PUA

Vivi didn't expect Dumbledore to ask such a question.

"I don't understand what you mean, Professor Dumbledore," she said.

"You should understand, Grindelwald Junior," Professor Dumbledore said, "I know your feelings for Harry, otherwise you wouldn't have crossed the distance of time to come a hundred years later... But, I heard from Newt that you seem to want to wait until Miss Malfoy returns before you start a fair competition with her?"

"I do plan to do that," Vivi said with a smile.

Dumbledore wasn't quite sure about Vivi's idea, so he asked puzzledly, "Why? As far as I know, Miss Malfoy is Harry's close friend since first year. Are you really confident you can surpass her?"

"I will make Cassandra genuinely convinced, Professor," Vivi said humbly, yet her eyes couldn't hide her pride.

"I still think you shouldn't be too careless," Dumbledore's eyes flashed with worry, "If I were you, I would first confirm the relationship with Harry, and then rescue Cassandra..."

After all, Dumbledore is a steadfast supporter of the Harvey Party.

Apart from the fun-loving Mr. Leme and several professors who are trapped in portraits underground, the Harvey Party only has Dumbledore.

The reason isn't hard to guess, after several conversations coupled with indirect inquiries, Dumbledore already has a preliminary image of Vivi.

This is someone with ambition greater than Gellert's, or perhaps... Gellert is just the youthful version of her.

Dumbledore is old now, and the new generation got disrupted by Voldemort, once Vivi completes her plans, there might be no one who can stop her.

But he always believed in love, believing that love can transform everything.

So, Dumbledore unwaveringly supported Vivi and Harry being together, so that there could be someone to tether her ambition.

Moreover, the fact that Vivi could travel through a hundred years to find Harry indicates she has love in her heart.

Those with love in their hearts won't become people like Voldemort and Gellert.

"Don't worry, Professor," Vivi confidently said, "If I can beat Cassandra once, I can beat her a second time, the ultimate victor will only be me."

Seeing Vivi like this, Dumbledore couldn't persuade her further.

"Let it be so then," he sighed, simultaneously planning to chat with Gellert about this topic...

However, he suddenly remembered that Gellert never got along with Harry.

According to his understanding of Gellert, this guy would surely resolutely break up the Harvey Party.

Mainly playing a flexible role, whoever breaks up Harry and Vivi will be his good friend.

No good, it seems Gael can't be trusted either, he should find a suitable candidate to consult about this matter.

Or... Newt?

Newt wouldn't work, his aunt Pabi... who knows what situation she is in?

Dumbledore knows Newt's character; he values feelings and relationships, and he will definitely firmly support Pabi's rise.

Once Cassandra returns, perhaps all Pure-blood clans close to the Malfoy family will automatically join the Haka Party.

Thinking of this, Dumbledore felt a bit of a headache.

How unexpected that a small Hogwarts could simultaneously accommodate three major parties?!

Early the next morning, Harry received a letter from the Malfoy family.

The letter roughly stated that the School Board meeting would be held tomorrow, Saturday morning, to officially announce the decision to add a new member to the board.

After receiving the letter, Harry strolled all the way to Newt's tent.

"Professor Scamander," Harry greeted him.

Newt turned around, seeing it was Harry, he smiled and said, "It's you, Harry, didn't we say you can just call me Newt..."

"This is in school, I should call you Professor." Harry pulled out the letter from his coat and handed it to Newt, "This is the letter from the Malfoy family, the school board meeting is tomorrow, is Pabi still at the Leme family?"

"Auntie is strolling in the Forbidden Forest, Mr. Leme is over there."

Newt said, pointing a direction for Harry.

Harry looked in the direction Newt pointed and thought, isn't that the direction I came from? I didn't see any house there!

But as soon as he turned his head, he saw a two-story small villa standing by the roadside he came from.

"This is Mr. Leme's new house, protected by the Sword of Loyalty Spell," Newt said with a sorriso, "I really didn't expect he came up with a way to generate electricity like the Muggles, now the electricity in their building can be self-sufficient."

"After all, he is a legendary Alchemist, knowing more things is quite normal," Harry quickly accepted the fact that Mr. Leme has numerous talents, "Why did they decide to move next to the school?"

"Mr. Leme said he is getting old and should be closer to the children to feel some vitality," Newt said words he didn't quite understand himself, "Moreover, he plans to constantly monitor Auntie's health, trying to find a way to make her again... oh."

"Mr. Leme is really nice," Harry sighed.

"Who could say he's not?" Newt sighed too, "Nowadays, good people like Mr. Leme are getting fewer and fewer."

Harry chatted with Newt a bit more, then bid farewell to him, planning to go see what Pabi was doing in the Forbidden Forest.

As Harry walked further and further, Gellert suddenly appeared behind Newt.

"We need to talk, Scamander," Gellert said with a serious expression.
